  1. ive never heard of it happening and you have got to remember that some of these zeds are coming up to 18 years old now
  2. there are two nipples on the clutch line. one between the wing and HICAS unit just behind the drivers head light, the other is on the slave cylinder. bleeding is done in the same way as you would your brakes. start with the nipple in the engine bay first then keep swapping over after a few pumps each. its a nightmere to do and may well take a while. there is an alternative that can be done by replacing the clutch line all together, using a single braided line from master to slave;)
  3. so was he nicked for no plates??
  4. throttle position sensor...........
  5. it wouldnt hurt, it would be best to do a boost leak test. theres got to be someone near you with a leak tester, you'll be surprised with the amount of zeds driving around with boost leaks. have you checked your TPS voltage? http://home.swipnet.se/e-solutions/IdleTech2.html
  6. also, if you cant make out what the hell it says on the drivers sun visor and center bar between the targers then its a J-spec lol
  7. no worries buddy, im in no rush for them, although i wouldnt mind showing them to santa claws:tongue: that hedge sujests to me that theres been alot of cleaning going on lol

  10. dam, he declined my offer of a tenner lol
  11. LOL theres no mention of forging the interals nor make/model of the larger tubs (if not sock) so i think hes very very optomistic stating 500 horses. mind you he has cleaned the injectors, maybe thats where he got the extra 150 bhp from lol
  12. lmao pain in the arse would be one way of putting, ive still got a hugh box full of silcone and SS pipes all shapes and sizes left over lol
  13. well there you go... what about the rear belts? are they 3 point or still laps?
  14. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180306864708&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2F%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm38.l1313%26_nkw%3D180306864708%26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories%26_fvi%3D1
  15. thank you dude:duffer:
  16. easy way to tell.... do your front seat belts hang off the doors? if yes then its a J-spec;)
  17. yup thats a series one, you could try Danny at DTA on here or ebay or every now and then second hand ones pop up for sale. the series two's should come with its own loom so you can plug it straight into the existing loom
  18. cheers buddy;) also what cooling fan are you running? i cant see an after market thermo switch on the top water pipe
  19. thank you buddytheres some pics of my full build here... http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=114862 the most popular controller seems to be the greddy profec B. if you do a search you'll find loads of info. PTU – Power Transistor Unit The PTU is the vehicles ignition module and its job is to deliver the signal from the ECU to each of the Ignition coilpack circuits for igniting each spark plug the PTU normally sits on the face of the drivers side cam cover, you will see four raised bolt holes where its stock position is. there are two types, a series one and a series two. the series one's tend to go tits up and its a popular mod to upgrade to a serise two. again do a search and you will find tons of info.
  20. it looks like the PTU has been relocated so not sure which series it is. and is that a manual boost controller sitting on top of the cam covers??? if it is, get rid of that buddy and plumb in an electronic jobbie :)
  21. a couple of pictures of the valve in question, that should be the last thing to adjust after you have checked every thing else i,e... TPS, timing and once the TB's have been cleaned and sync'd. the valve screw is a pain to get to as the battery is in the way. use a long thin screw driver to adjust it and make sure the top yellow connecter is disconnected. ive circled the valve in red for ya;) HTH
  22. not sure where on the bumper its bolted to, never owned a stock one lol. its a little black/grey box roughly 1-2 inchs long with a bolt hole at one end
  23. off the top of my head, i cant remember which one it is. possible its the grey one. have a word with Paul@SWZ, im sure he'll have a dozen floating around. will be a hell of alot cheaper than Nissan
  24. i wouldnt have thought so, just your little reading of amb temp
