  3. Bloody hell DAVE(!), where did you spring from? Great to hear you still have the Z Chris, what needs doing to it? If it’s anything technical, Jimmer is your only serious option.

  7. I’m available and can be present for the whole weekend. Loving that potential floor plans are already done to save an emergency meeting with a pen and a napkin at a table in the NEC branch of Subway! Absolutely love this event [emoji41]
  8. Belated Birthday wishes Dave [emoji106]
  9. New rear quarter blue tint glass is NLA.
  10. Yes, the exhaust is exactly the same as mine. Great quality and nice sounding exhaust manufactured in the UK. It’s in good condition too.
  11. And just reverse the polarity for the up and down.
  12. The Z32 is quite difficult to pin point to a specific design era and it certainly doesn’t look like a 30year old car. The stock performance by today’s standards is pretty poor and a Ford Focus would give it a hard time on the street, a Focus RS would walk all over it! I’m not bothered by that fact but as the VG has so much potential to easily unlock reliable power that when items have required replacement, I chose to up the game and unlock that potential. I absolutely frickin’ love the feeling of planting the throttle in 3rd gear and feeling those performance gains working away on my senses! As you say with times and technology moving on and the fantastic innovation amongst certain members/companies in the community, the potential of the 300zx has just evolved with these times and we’re just creating a 300zx that Nissan would’ve produced if it wasn’t for the 300bhp gentleman’s agreement!
  13. This car has aftermarket wheels on Simon.
  14. You can customise the setup of your coilovers so they aren’t suited for track which is exactly what I did with my Meister R kit. By opting for a reduced spring rate front and rear, the setup I have now is significantly more comfortable than the lowering springs and KYB shocks that I removed them for. So much so in fact that the car rolls like mad in corners! Setting my Stillen ARB to the hardest setting has countered that issue so now it corners (reasonably) flat but it glides so much nicer over even the poorest condition roads.
  15. I know, I have no real excuse for that and my daily drive did initially become plan B. When my wife dropped out it was frustrating but I still had the Z as company during the long driving sections, which I was happy with. However, the thought of doing all those miles in my daily drive, which is not an overly fun car to drive(!), was grating me a little. I was still on board for the social, knowing the great bunch attending but when work got wind that the Z was unserviceable, they asked if I could cover some important work over the weekend with a very generous offer! With a necessary expense looming to fix the old girl it just made sense so I took the bait and sold myself! Sorry [emoji17]
  16. It’s a UK spec so a 2+2 twin turbo.
