  1. Also, you will have to readjust the camber settings one dropped as they will move.
  2. As the wheels are already fitted you should be able to tell if it will clear. From the spec given though, I think it'll work just fine. 19x9.5 rear on an et35 is nice and safe. With the 275 tyre it's possible that the arch lip may need rolling up, but I doubt it (someone with the same spec will confirm). 19x9 front with an effective et20 sounds like a tasty looking fitment and the 235 tyre is nicely stretched to fit really well in the arch. On paper it sounds like it'll look great once dropped. Be aware that your oem springs may have sagged a little so the drop may not be as much as advertised. Make sure you stick some pics up, what wheels hae you got?
  3. Looking very tasty matey, a serious machine. Something that really interests me about your car is the choice of wheel sizes. I think it would be a very interesting comparison if you fitted bob genie's wheels to see how/if it affects track performance.
  4. Maybe ask some of the lads breaking zeds?
  5. Just get the oem one's ya tight git, you'll only replace them once!
  6. Selling yours for a good price is your first hurdle... Buying a 'decent' tt for the same price is your second, higher hurdle... Doing it all in the same weekend... That's some challenge! Have you considered saving a few bob and buying a tt engine as an option?
  7. A boost leak check might be a good idea...
  8. TT's don't need power steering as they have enough power to light up the wheels, steer with the rear!!
  9. Although I am shocked at this discovery. Like yowser, I had noticed this before but just assumed it was a light thing... It is actually a difference. I can't for the life of me think what would warrant the production cost of a different style bumper with such a minor difference.
  10. I don't, I just made it up!!
  11. It was an optional extra from the factory to have this instead of the mudspats, available in uk jap and us markets. Nissan had a shortage of non flared at one point so fitted the flared to some models regardless.
  12. Maybe try researching before you buy the wheels rather than buying them, then asking if they'll fit! lol
  13. Looks great matey. Lovely looking zed, more pics more pics!
  14. Won't make a difference matey. Unless you go to 8.5" wide where the spokes will be alot less concave to allow room for the offset. Ultimately, the offset will govern how far in or out of the arch the wheel will sit, regardless of the design or amount of concave.
  15. If you haven't paid for these I would advise against them. The offset either won't work or will look silly without large (expensive) spacers, 235 is not ideal for the rear wheel width (less than stock, 245?) and I think you'll find the Subaru svx centre bore is smaller so the wheel physically won't go on...
  16. Ooh, only just seen this, might take the zed for a blat.
  17. You may have caliper or suspension clearance issues with such a high offset, you could try 25mm spacers making et20. With those sizes it should work all round. Your best bet if you already have them is to fit them (if you can) and then use an offset calcator to get them how you want it.
  18. I'm in the same boat as you Dan, the csl is nice but not at that price, ideally the twinz is the style I like as it's pretty much oem but smoothed. As it stands, the twinz seems a pain as there is still no official date for when we could have one and our 'European distributor' twinchip, work out more expensive than just ordering from czp!
  19. You did a good job, more pics needed! Is it a swb or lwb?
  20. Were you not tempted to go for 10.5 on the back with a +35 (or so) offset?
  21. I saw a zed on eBay earlier for 23 grand... 2 secs I'll get u a link..!
  22. I love picture threads... Keep em coming..
