Does anyone happen to know whether the velour interiors had any variation in colour/shade between different specs? Specifically, are late spec blue Zeds velour "bluer" then the early model velour (which seem to have a blue hue!)?

I had several quotes for a paint job ranging from £1500 to £10000. Your best bet is to shortlist some companies that you would consider using and get quotes. Make sure that the quotes are like for like for comparison (ensure they know every detail of what you want) and try to have a good look at several of the jobs the company are doing beforehand to scope the finish you should expect. Personally, I think what other people have paid is fairly irrelevant as there are so many variables.
