  1. Duff Fest? :duffer: LOL
  2. I was thinking that too :D Maybe there's a UK version but you can probably find out by searching Pioneer's website.
  3. At least you can afford a Z, mine is off the road indefinately LOL You can get a .co.uk domain name registered for under 3 quid these days and forward it to your free webspace ;) http://www.fasthosts.co.uk Problem is choosing something for the event that's not going to change so people can go back to the same site each year. Otherwise you'd have to register a new one each year and could find out that in 2010 someone already registered Z010.co.uk and you're ****ed! LOL
  4. Cooooool! Do you take the blue pill or the red pill before riding it? LOL
  5. Would be nicer with a big V8 though :D LOL
  6. I thought about that line myself but look what happens
  7. I was referring to the changing domain name and links every year not the content! :slap: LOL
  8. Maybe he's bought a "sleeper" from Japan with a Jun engine that he's not aware of :D What's the performance like? Does it beat Ferrari F50's or just Fiat 500's?
  9. Well maybe that's where to do it but I think it deserves something special. Are you going to change your website every year or get a proper one sorted?
  10. At these claimed pressures the engine would be dead within hours. Either the timing is so far out it's not running right or this is all b0llox and I think I know which  LOL
  11. A lot! Maybe £600 to take the engine out plus sending the turbos off to be reconditioned (advisable if old) so £1000 to £1500 I'd say all in.
  12. Yep thats right. Don't just go on whether it's got gold connectors - some really sh!te cables have gold ends on these days but the cable inside is terrible. What's the point of getting a great connection and it never corroding if the bit in between is crap? It's even more important if you need a long cable over 3m or so. I'd spend at least £30 on a Scart from a well known cable brand if it's to connect a decent source to your TV, you WILL notice the difference. On the other hand, as you may have seen on The Gadget Show the other night when they reviewed HDMI cables it's not worth spending much on those. It's digital so the signal either gets there or it doesn't, the cable quality can't degrade the final output. They tried a HDMI for a tenner against one costing £120 and couldn't tell the difference.
  13. "WILL GIVE YOU BOTH THAT "FIRST TIME" FEELING AGAIN - FANTASTIC!" LMAO  Maybe it's like Polyfilla and you just pack it out to the right fit?
  14. Just been thinking that next year will mark 20 years since the Z32 went on sale  Does anyone know the exact date they were released here or in Japan? Are we going to have an event to celebrate? :duffer:
  15. I don't think you'll find many of these cars for sale that don't have problems - some are nearly 20 years old now and that's slightly outside their warranty period! They are probably on eBay for a reason. After one of my turbo's failed followed by a cracked piston it dumped loads of oil through the system. I replaced the PCV system twice and it was still the same. It eventually cleared up on it's own after several hundred miles of driving so I can only assume it was oil hanging around and eventually buring off. I'd run it steady for a 1000 miles and see if it goes away and maybe change the PCV valves again (you can just soak them in petrol to clean but they are only a few quid) as it may be they get clogged again. If that doesn't cure it then it's turbo seal replacement but that's an engine out job. You might as well get the turbo's refurbed at the same time otherwise they could fail a month later so all in it's not a cheap job.
  16. When you boot it the car momentarily goes into Power mode and the light comes on. Aircon is also disconnected to give you a little bit more power. Once you take your foot off it returns to "normal" mode.
  17. I've found you a light weight sub box Si! :D  I used to have 4x 12" subs in my old car with a Lanzar 1000W RMS amp driving them plus 3 other big Alpine amps for front, rear and mid bass. Now that rocked! I've installed some of it in the Z but haven't got it up and running yet.
  18. I rest my case
  19. Yeah it's been posted a few times but I haven't seen it for a few years so good for fooling the newbies!
  20. Lots of gorgeous places up there but too many to mention. You are still quite far south at Arran but would be worth a drive north up the west coast if you have chance and maybe head back further inland through the highlands via some of the lochs. If you haven't got time to go too far then maybe have a drive round Loch Lomond area but it's more like the lake district than further north into "real" Scotland. Stunning scenery. Loads of distillery tours around which are worth a visit. Glasgow is a great night out if you fancy a beer or 10.
  21. Happy Birthday mate! :duffer:
  22. http://www.petroldirect.com/index.htm Bargain! :D
  23. Take all the material off and make yourself a nice tweed suit. Ooh! Suit you SIr! :D
  24. Did any of you see this a while back? The verdict is in. There should be more news stories like this LMFAO! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/north_west/7360871.stm http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/north_west/7398202.stm Well we've all done it after a few beers... :x: :slap:
