  1. You have no idea what width and offset your new wheels are? Sounds like this could be very expensive! Fitting a wide arch kit isn't cheap if that's what you end up needing. Chris.
  2. Just not worth taking to court for £30 when there's no points going on your license. You'll end up paying costs of at least £50, an increased fine and that new "victims support donation" or whatever it is of about £20 or something for poor victims of crime that you had nothing to do with. Basically at least £100 down the drain plus a day off work to sit around until they adjurn it cos they ran out of time and you have to book a further day off which happened to me LOL No court is ever going to take your word against a copper over something like driving with fog lights on. It's your word against someone who has (in their eyes) sworn to do his duty. If the cops were going to fix you up over something they could make it a lot worse for you than a £30 fine.
  3. Just keep bleeding it and it will come good in the end. Took me 3 goes over 2 days to get mine sorted. Air just gets trapped somewhere and it took leaving the car for 2 days before trying again to get the final bubbles out. I'd run about 2 litres of fluid through it by the time I'd finished!
  4. It would be unbalanced and most of the braking goes on the front anyway. I'm sure it's possible to make up brackets etc to fit the AP's but if nobody has ever done it before then it will probably cost more than a new brake kit in messing about.
  5. I do a lot of soldering and got a SolderPro 70 from Maplin. Top quality and loads of accessories and spares for them. Lasts hours on a quick fill of lighter gas. £15 off at the mo. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=34959
