It's amazing how they manage to make £££billions of profit out of not allowing us access to our own money and charging us hundreds for borrowing an extra £20 when it's us that give THEM thousands every month! We should all go back to getting paid cash and keep it under the matress. That would soon sort them out! LOL

Yeah I've had loads where they paid for example a £20 direct debit payment that took me over my overdraft limit, charged me a huge "agreed excess overdraft charge" that seems to be random and somewhere between £80 to £120 plus interest then bounced the original payment back into my account so they only actually allowed me over the limit while they decided it was to be recalled LOL I remember years ago when you had an overdraft limit you could never go over it. Now it's just a line for you to step over so they can hit you with fees. Thats on top of keeping your money for a week when you pay it into your account. That's meant to be going instant around now as well after they've finally been told it's unfair - no sh1t! I got an £8K flexi loan that I took out a few years ago at a really good rate of about 6.9% and as it was a flexi when it was paid off I borrowed more on it to do stuff on the house and kept up my payments. As soon as i missed a payment last year when i lost my job they started putting the rate up by a couple of % almost every month. It's now almost 30% and completely unpayable. All they say is it's in the terms and conditions that the rate can change! I expected maybe 1 or 2% but not 20 odd % the robbing *******s!! The last woman I spoke to admitted it was unfair but out of her hands and that they just want me to take the loan elsewhere to get their money back in with the credit market as it is but I've told them to get stuffed and put me on a standard fixed rate loan at a sensible rate or I'll see them in court. Waiting for a reply.

Woohoo! I should get loads back if all goes well. I hope I'll be getting interest on all this cash they've taken off me at times when they allowed me to go a few quid over my limit then slapped £100 charges on for the privilege!

It could well be these as the name kind of gives it away. It does feel almost as though the wheels are turning side to side and I'm presuming that these rods are there to keep the wheels in line as the front tension rods do? I originaly replaced the HICAS as I'd wrongly assumed it was allowing the wheels to turn under power - the balljoints were badly worn but it felt just the same after I replaced them.

I'm coming cos Wozza told me you said we could both have a go with her after the pub crawl :x: :rofl: Just too broke at the moment. I've somehow ended up with a job on half the money I was earning 5 years ago :cry: Hopefully not for too much longer.

HICAS arms and ball joints were replaced at same time as the bar was fitted and it's an adjustable toe HICAS system so I've had that set up. It's on Blitz lowering springs and Koni adjustables about 4 years old and hardly driven. It could well be the rear tension arm bushes or ball joints I suppose but I can't seem to find any play when I've done a quick check. The back end seems to sway to one side then the other as the power is put down almost like the feeling of torque steer in a powerful front wheel drive car. Doesn't give any confidence at all when cornering so I don't dare use half of the cars grip.

I partly asked this in an earlier post but never really got an answer. My subframe bushes were leaking badly so as a quick fix I got a set of the locking collars from Z1 to disguise it and hopefully lock the subframe down. I'm still getting a strange side to side wriggle when powering out of long corners and can't decide if it's a subframe problem or the rear suspension that's shot. I've tried pulling on the rear wheels and their doesn't seem to be any play. The HICAS has been completely removed. Does anybody know if these locking collars will completely clamp the subframe in position even with knackered bushes? I don't know if they are just designed to reduce play along with good bushes or totally lock it out in which case the bush condition is irrelevant. Don't want to go to all the effort of removing the subframe if the problem is with the suspension arms and bushes. Cheers, Chris.

Oooh I'd missed this! I've got everything there apart from the rear suspension kit. I already have a HICAS eliminator but could always sell it on if I can't buy without.

Did anyone see Monster Garage on TV last night? They made a V8 road racer from some huge yank tank and rolled the arches out about 2 inches with a baseball bat like in that YouTube vid above! Never seen anything like it!

Oooh aren't you lucky! I loved the one I had on my car when it was an auto. Found it on my car when I bought it fresh in from Japan :) It gets rid of that slow change and makes the car feel a bit more like a manual. Doesn't make much difference when you are driving steady but when you put your foot down it makes the changes more aggressive.

I use a few different PC's and it doesn't always seem to work. Probably down to firewalls and cache settings.

I remember years ago when this site only had 3 main sections: Technical - now Help and Advice General - now split into 4 Z Related and Non Z Related General Discussion, Pics etc etc For Sale & Wanted - now split into 5 I don't have time to go looking through all the sections and generally just use Help and Advice and General with the odd look in Events. There are so many that have next to nothing posted in them that I just don't bother looking anymore. Anyone else do the same?
