  1. hi there, had exactly the same problem you had, but i managed to find a really good low millage second hand complete hicas rack with all the arms, fixed the problem straight away, mike feeny at mj parts in the traders section sell the arms for about £55 each if i remember, then you have to fit them and set the end stops that are underneath the rubber boots on the rack, you will find that its the ball joint at the end of the rack that wears and causes the wheels to go there own way lol!! but can also be other suspention parts as mentiond by the other posts. hope this helps

  4. i had a similar problem on my zed but below 1500rpm turned out it was something to do with my aiv valves weired i know, how i found out was on the rear of the balance pipe on the drivers side theres a vacum take off for the aiv valves, i pulled the 6mm vacum hose off the end of the balance pipe & put my finget over the hole in the balance pipe, the fault dissapeared straight away food for thought just incase its not your ptu :nelson:

  20. u lucky ........!!!! :hyper: :hyper: full report please !!!
  21. been having a slight missfire on the zed on the drivers side, cant for the life of me find the fault tried everything, so i unplugged all the injectors and coilpacks and pulled back the wiring loom, just as i opened the connector to the iacc valve i noticed that the red wire going into the connector had worn through and was making contact with the earth of the plennum  would this cause my missfire at very low revs ???
  22. also the convertible in american pie 2 :p
  23. im still abaout, ive been busy chasing sheep up north
  24. ok story so far, have removed ptu & cleaned all connections, i dont get the missfire when i first start up the engine only when it has warmed up !!!, i also swapped all the plugs and coil packs from left to right side and the problem is still there when i rev the passenger side throttle body, so its not the plugs or coil packs, could it be the ptu, or an injector?? i can try a commpression check but it seems to be ok when its cold!!!
  25. ive got a set of 4 audi rs6 18'' alloys that despreatly need straightning and refurbishing, is it possible to do these??
