a reg vw polo, my dad who works in a body shop did it all up for me, sprayed it red, red wheel trims, red bumpers, red wing mirrors, red grille, yep all red, was great at the time but bit like a scooter!! great fun to drive but you wouldent want your mates to see you on it LOL!!!

dont worry i havent bought one but my bro has!! well below 5000 rpm its a bag of shite but above 5000 its like a turbo so whats going on?? if i floor it in second even it just gets louder but doesnt pull at all, and the clutch is ok, so im a bit miffed, anyone have an idea!!

check out my rides, i have the zed centre mid height spoiler, looks awsome only gripe is that you cant see who is driving the car behind you it just blocks there windscreen bit annoying when you think you are being followed by an unmarked cop car and you cant see the driver LOL!!

yeah i made a tool at work but i hammerd them down too hard, maybe the tool nissan use has a stop on the base to stop them being banged down too hard??

doh!!! my zed has been smoking after i have done all the valve stem oil seals, i spoke to a nissan mechanic 2day and i told him how i went about doing the oil seals in situ, he did say i might have hammerd the valve stem oil seals too hard down and that, they have deformed and not sealing properly?? i do remember hammering them down well, and didnt stop till they were pinging!! ws i at fault to do this, do i have to do all the seals again ffs!!! any help much appreceated!!

well ffs what to doo?? did all the valve stem oil seals with the head on and just finished rebuilding her!! fired first time no probbs but smoked for a while!! took her for a run and some smoke again white smoke but it soon cleared, but coming down the hill again and setting off again i got a little puff of blue smoke again :mad: nowhere near as bad as before but its still smoke!! do the valve stem seals need time to bed in?? whats next piston rings!! tubs!! could it be the 02 sensors over fueling?? would the next best step be to have a go with a consult?? if so anyone near me in north wales with one?? questions questions questions!!!!! im off to the pub :dance: :dance:

fellas, when reffiting the cambelt how accurate do the match marks line up?? i fitted the belt and all the lines match up on the sprockets with the belt but on the rear of the belt cover, the dots seem about a few milimeters out, i know its nothing but i should check with you first as it could turn out to be an expensive mistake LOL!!! :rolleyes:

well well!! finished with the girlfriend lastnight so what did i doo?? thats right straight into the arms of my beloved zed and worked on her till 2:30 am this morning phew!! well worth the effort dont you think!! all is left now is cambelt covers, radiator, polish my water pipes, and starter motor!!

fellas, is there an altenative sealant to use than the nissan sealant for me to refit my rocker covers,??

well at last i have fitted all my valve stem oil seals, but had to make a new type of spring compressor, the one i made was easy to use and helped a lot in removing and replacing the collets!! i just hope to hell that i havent hammerd the seals home too hard if thats possible!! they look a wee bit squashed :rolleyes: here are the pics of the new commpressor i have made!!

hey all, bro is looking 2 buy an mr2, ive tried to talk sense in to him but he says he cant aford to keep fixing a zed :D :D probably gets that from me :wack: anyway, does anyone have any buing tips for me to look at or know of any probs these mr2 have, thanks in advance!! dewi.
