  3. i raced a 360 a couple of months ago, leaving work he actually turned round and followed me then he gave a huge rev and passed me just as i expected, but what he didnt expect was me to stick right up his rear, the zed really did feel quicker or he couldnt drive, we were on an A road that i knew really well, only problem was i had really bad brakes, the look on his face when he stopped at the junction to see me smiling behind him lol! and he was showing off to his missrs in the passenger seat
  4. very very sad to see this, i took mine to an authorised nissan garage and well the work wasnt to standard to say the least, people should realise these are high prefromance supercars and only people who know what there doing should service them, please people do your homework on finding a good garage to service your zed and not end up paying £££ for very poor work as jeff has pointed out
  5. Ah well i will have to update the old suspension i think ££££ will try the camber arms

  12. hi there guys my hicas joints are worn suspect on the balljoints by the hicas rack, are these the arms i need seen them on ebay quite a good price too http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-INNER-TIE-ROD-END-Set-NISSAN-300ZX-89-95-/320432741915?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM
  13. any update on this one guys i have brake judder too, just skimmed the disks, new pads poly bushed the tension arm, bottom arm too cant seem to find where its coming from, brake hard and its not there, brake slowly from say 70 and it gets worse as the car slows down? when i skimmed the disks i noticed the pads dont sit square on the disks as they wear the disks slightly more on the outer edge of the disk because the piston now is more towards the outer edge of the disk, not sure this makes any sense, its wearing like a knife edge.
  14. tighten the other 4 bolts up as tight as you can so it will at least relieve some pressure off the bolt, DONT use an air chisel, at the very last resort you could knock out the other 4 studs, then turn the whole wheel to loosen off the nut, you may have to buy new studs though but im thinking its the least amount of damage
  15. you deffintley checked the oil when the engine was running and warm yes? i had this problem, too ended up manual conversion, worked out cheaper than a recon autobox

  18. just skimmed my R33 skyline disks in work they are to within 0.02mm on the lathe so there quit true, now when i fitted the passenger side the disk was missaligned against the hub and got trapped in the caliper, so when i bolted up the caliper with the extension brackets it has pulled my disk over :hammer::hammer: when i took the zed out for a spin there was huge brake judder even came through the brake pedal!! is it possible i have bent the disk slightly, i know there cast and im lucky it didnt crack :bored: any thoughts gents
  19. **Post Edited** Sorry buddy registered users are not aloud to sell or offer things to sell through the board, please feel free to list this though when sub'd thanks mate chris
  20. gents anyone else using brembo 324mm disks with standard calipers and caliper relocation bracket? i have found that my pad is sitting 5mm too high, when i removed the pads there was a 5mm lip around the top where the pad doesnt contact the disk? anyone else have this problem? was thinking of pinning the pads 5mm lower in the caliper by means of a modified pin!
  21. any idea where i can get the ball joints from? i have quite bad vibration when braking and the fron end feels loose so while im down there may as well change them? are the track rod end ball joints able to move by twisting with your hand or are these meant to be very stiff?
  22. this is the ball joint im after also called the lower wishbone arm http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BREAKING-300ZX-Z32-parts-OSF-Lower-arm-wishbone_W0QQitemZ360269347969QQcategoryZ10402QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3907.m263QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DSIC%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BIEW%252BFICS%252BUFI%252BDDSIC%26otn%3D20%26pmod%3D380239862167%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63
