im just gauging intrest in the sale of my beloved zed :cry: as you know i have had her for about 8 years now and have spared no expense at all on keeping it in pristine condition, uk spec 1990 with the manual conversion full engine rebuild from phil c&s wood with new tubs complete bare shell strip down no rust at all paul bailey bodykit with blended skirts polished plennum apexi, gtr disks, traction controll, ice install infinity kappa, jl sub radius r6 alloys 18"

thanks guys for all your heart felt comments i have read them all and ponderd the outcomes, a lot of my friends here at work have gone through the same thing but always bottle it up, i dont know why im strong on everything except matters of the heart, i do wish i was less sensitive but i cant its not me, i am the one who cryed in front of her begging her back, maybe i should of been stronger, i really really do want her back and would do anything to do it, she lives on my estate so makes it worse i have gone back to live with my mum and dad for the time being so she see the house empty hopefully that will get her thinking, i think i should leave her contact me and not pester her for a while, but how long do i give??? really want o talk to her face to face hope it will sort things out, she is off to wrexham sat on the piss with her friends and i nnoticed on her facebook page she wrote feeling very shitty on her status but im just grassping at straws, its my birthday in two weeks time and we were meant to go to see pink together in manchester but i sold the tickets the day after she finished with me on facebook so she could see it, its just so hard to be waiting for her to contact, maybe she wont and im just cutting myself up worse, she still has my house key i think hopefully she will ask when do i want it back and that may be the time to talk, nothing will make the pain go away i know i havent eaten since sun, i just cant, it is a great relief to be able to talk on here with friends it really is thanks guys

ah thanks guys i was a little worried as the calipers are quite close to my spokes on the alloys i have'nt bought the calipers yet just checking to make sure i can still use my alloys

That is what i want to ask the guys who have these on there zed, i need them to measure dimension 'A' then i could see if my wheels would fit or space them out

guys before trying to fit these could someone tell me the 'A' measurement i need to know if these will clear my 18" wheels or will i need some spacers? any help much appreceated :)

ah jeff to the rescue cheers matey will need some new outer bushes then, have seen some energy suspention subframe bushes quite reasonable price too im thinking 20year old zed needs some suspention upgrading i think cheers matey

undearneath the zed at the mo and noticed that im able to move the trackrod ball joints in the rear of the zeds the ones on the rear hub that go to the hicas with a split pin in question is should they be this free to move?? :confused: the front track rods are really tight also im able to move the subframe up and down slightly with a crow bar again do i need to replace the subframe bushes? 1990 tt uk

ah this sounds good would they fit the r33 disks? what evo calipers should i be looking for? are they as big as the r33 gtr ones? any pics matey

done some searching and a few on here have the evo calipers for there zed how do you find them as compared to the r33 calipers have seen some evo calipers and there quite reasonably priced are they similar sized to the r33 ones? can i use the r33 disks with them? iirc the evo disks are 319 mm i could machine my disks down to 319 from the standard 324 if they will then do for the evo calipers? any thought or suggestions on these looks like a cheaper route to better braking i though :rolleyes:

got some serious tyre wear on the inside of my front tyres, wheels wobble when braking also question is i have fitted some energy suspention bushes in the tension rods maybe 8 years ago will these have worn out causing the wobble?? standard suspension with 18's have done a search found that the old suspention may have sagged and camber will need correcting, i will need to check iirc bottom arm bush king pin top link track rod end car will need to be checked for alignment toe in out ect anyone else have an idea what to check
