  1. no i used what i had left over from sanding the paint off my car to bare metal. Sanding discs!

  3. A dremel for all the tricky bits and various grades of sand paper. I used 80,120.240,320,500,1200 to get it all smooth then i used a few different grit rubbing blocks which i cant remember the grades. I then took it to a metal polishers to give it its last buff up. it took me and a mate about 25/30hrs. But it was worth it as doing it by hand there is no ripples or grooves from the polish wheels.

  22. Hi All, Im having a custom carbon bonnet made and would like to add a vent to realise some of the high temps from the engine bay. Where would you think would be best to place to put a vent? I dont want to place it over apart of the engine that water may cause problems. But in a place that the vent or vents will actually work. Also has any got any ideas on style of vent? I want one that will let the least amount of water in. No big scoops! Was maybe thinking of the flat Scooby STI vent or just simple cut outs. A few ideas I like this one off the 280z directs air aswell as a vent
