Its not my sort of thing! Like i said I was at a loose end and couldnt do much else that night. If thats what my mate wants to do to his car I cant do nothing about it!

Spotted a Black LWB TT to night attempting to dounut in the rain over a local car park in Basildon. I went out with a mate of mine in his Scooby tonight as im on call this week and couldnt go out on the piss. Well after watching the Zed in the car park and getting ripped to pieces by my mates! My mate done his bit in his Scooby aswell. after finishing a guy came over and said I would check your tyres as alot of nails had been thrown on the floor hours before hand! So not only is there nails flying around the place most of the cars will have puntures.:cry: I know its not the right thing to do with any car or car park but how stupid is it to throw nails on the floor.:rant:

:)The first time I fell in love with a Zed was when I was on a school trip (94-95)aged about 14-15 we was going to the south of France. I remember sitting on the coach with my selection of car mags Revs, Maxpower & Fastcar :headvswal And Maxpowers main feature was a yellow modded zed. I remember how the car was praised so much for being such a Monster and so different to all the other cars! I instantly promised myself I would own a Zed one day.:bow: I see a few Zeds driving about over the years which was a rare site untill my mate bought a Grey TT import in 2000. In 2003 I had to have one which I still have to this day well sort of its in a few different parts :eek: I still love to this day the wow factor you get from people and the confusion in what it is:)

I may have the z1 clutch and flywheel your talking about for sale brand new still if interested?

Im in need of a new set with fixings as my others were broken grrr

Hi all, Ok ive managed to get the old loom out now! Im wondering if its the right loom or not as my old one is coded 24011 40p60 then a big 3 and the new one is b4011 31p61 Im hoping its the same and that over the years they just improved the loom as it does have all the right connectors and plugs in the right places, But ive noticed that the only other plug on the loom that is near the ECU connector has a pin missing in it compared to my old one? The new loom does look better made and improved but it a little bit longer i maybe wrong tho as the old 1 is twisted up now. Please help:( Thanks Dan

Hi all, Im having trouble fitting the new engine loom now :mac1: Ive disconnected the ECU and the other plug that connects to the other part of the loom. But im having trouble pulling it though the bulk head! Is the loom connected anywhere else? I hope i havent caused more damage pulling it. Whats the best way of getting it out? Cheers

Hi all me again, Has anyone changed the bushes on the diff? Ive got the diff out now im just having trouble getting the old bushes off. The hardest ones are the ones attached to the chassis of the car. Do i need a press? Cheers

It was quite easy for me as the gearbox was already out from when i took the engine out. I put the rear wheels on ramps so when I needed to undo the 8 or so prop bolts the wheels didnt spin. Then i got a axle stand to hold up the prop straight as if it was connected to the box still. When undoing the prop bolts you may need a little heat or shocking with a light tap with a hammer to make things abit easier. The harder part i think will be refitting everything. Im not looking forward to that lol

Cheers Mark :) Do i need to take the brass end off the old 1 and fit it to my new 1? I have already tried but it wasnt the best of fit. Ill try my best and get down to my workshop 2moz and get them measurments for you1

Hi all, Me again with my many Zed problems :bow: Ive got round to taking my old TT prop off today:hyper: But when I got my new prop out it was about an inch and half shorter. Im hoping I havent recieved a short wheelbase version as i bought it months ago. I have noticed that the end of my old prop is different as pic! Do I need to take the end bit off and fit it to the new one or have I got apart missing. Any help will be great and Happy new year! Dan

Thanks mate, I tried to get some money out of them but i was given excuse after excuse. So i ended up taking it to a fibre glass specialist and had it repaired and a few bits altered as it wasnt 100% recoverble

I looked into replacing my ab-flug front bumper before I had it repaired after the bodyshop i was using destroyed it with a DA sander. Think it worked out around £800 delivered.

Thanks Smithy I wouldnt of thought Skyline tuners would want to touch a Zed. A few people I know with there high powered Skylines go to RK Tuning ill see if its possible he can have ago with mine when its done.

Ok great ill leave it for now something off my to do list :hyper: Still not even sure who would be good for mapping my car yet I hear so many bad stories and hardley any good ones. Smithy I havent got a fuel regulator yet which one would you suggest? Cheers for your help everyone:bow:
