  2. I dont like the look of the Zed looks very poor considering what they spend on the cars for the films
  3. I have a set of DTA brake lines and i must admit that they are a good bit of kit. They are a straight fit with no hassel involved! Not like some S/S brake lines ive come across.

Im looking to fill my 2 Gauge A piller pod with a EGT gauge and a Oil pressure or Oil temp depending if the Greddy multichecker doesnt display any. Out of the 2 which would be best to have?? Cheers Dan
  8. ;) I was thinking the same lol The time its taken to get it this far I think the slightest thing to go wrong will pi$$ me off. But im building the car to enjoy it so it will get used as much as possible and stone chips etc will happen so i better get used to it. Thanks for all your nice comments guys I know its not to everyones taste but im building a car for myself to how I would like the car to be and I like to be different and stand out from the crowed:)
  9. The colour is the famous Rosso corsa red (Ferrari) I like it so much that i wouldnt have nothing but this colour as its the 3rd respray since owning her.
  10. Cheers Bud, The car has taken every spare penny and time i have for over a year now. What dont help is that im really fussy and everything has to be perfect which annoys me and people that has done work on the car:rofl: The other day I had a guy come down to underseal and wax oil everything that could be done and I made sure it was everything that can be done. I cant wait untill the car is finished but in my mind there is so much more that needs to be done i dont think it will ever be finished:rant:
  11. Hi all, I thought I would show you how far I have got with the restoration of my zed. Even looking at it now it dont look like I have done much but believe it or not it has taken me over 14 months to strip the car near enough to a bare rolling shell and then restore or replace nearly every part. If I ever have the time I would like to make some sort of diary of the build as I have hundreds of pictures from the start up to the present time. Here is a few pics: Before restoration Shell Paint stripping Now Rebuilt head lights sprayed Black with a tint of red glitter Engine so far New seat with interior trimmed to match
  12. Same here i ordered some parts on Thurday the 22 and they arrived today
  13. I bought Greg dupree manifolds made out Inconel! Apprently its the best steel to use as it is alot more resistant to high temps. I think? well thats what i was told lol
  14. Oh dear im dreading mine now:( I dont want mine really loud. Ive got different manifolds and 3" split downpipes.
  15. Dont do it there is enough tampons out there
  16. Yea thanks for the info guys! I think i should of made it abit clearer sorry! Ive changed everything on my engine but a mate of mine is looking at a Zed and its apprently had uprated turbos injectors etc but it still has standard internals. Thats what made me think how much the standard pistons and rods etc can take before they go pop! :smash: Cheers Dan
  17. Ive been told that an Aluminium flywheel isnt the best opsion as they can warp under intense heat and with a heavy duty clutch the clutch will chew it to bits. I maybe wrong but i went for the 12lb steel version to be safe
  18. Wow thats better than i thought
  19. Hi all, I know this has been mensioned before but im having problems finding the info. Does anyone know whats the highest boost the stock internals can take without having a total melt down? Cheers
  20. Stillen do the same sort of kit! I havent fitted mine yet but like Whiteline they have good reviews
  21. turb0z can i ask how you managed to wire them up? I have a set but have not got round to figure how to wire them up as the connector plug on the mirrors do not match the plugs on the car. Thanx Dan
