  3. Hi All, What engine mounts would you advise to use? Considering the spec i have im not sure if stock engine mounts will be good enough? Would nismo be the better opsion. Thanx
  4. On top of that there would be more or the same amount of CO2 with the extra diesel guzzling busses that they would put on the roads theres to many as it is pumping black smoke out all day long. If they could they would tax the air that we breath just to squeeze abit more money out of us.:rant:
  5. I like mine and thats all that matters:) Even tho ive changed a few bits now lol
  6. I have a set of standard rear shocks in very good condition if you want a cheaper opsion for now
  7. Ok thanx guys:) The bloke who gave me the info is running the gt28rs on his 106 gti and goes like shiiit off a stick lol
  8. Hi all, I have just bought the Gt28rs turbo's for my new engine. I have been advised the following off another site has anyone heard of this before?? they are brilliant turbos for their size, i love mine. make sure you use the water cooling though. the GT series garrett turbos have a smaller than normal oil shaft so rely more on water cooling than oil cooling. i have heard stories of people just using the oil cooling and got away with it. but its simple enough to rig up the water cooling so may as well fit it. i just T'd into the heater pipes on my car.... makes for a toastie warm heater too Cheers
  9. They will fit with a bit of modding as they are a gt28 turbo. But i wouldnt advice on fitting them as they have ceramic internals which shatter over a bar of boost. So if you was thinking of running say 14psi i would be very worried incase decide to go bang:eek: Alot of the skyline owners have the internals changed to steel to gain higher boost levels.
  10. My worst nite mare:cry:
  11. I was looking at the one on the Z1 site http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=2547
  12. Hi all, As my engine is nearly complete i was wondering if an Lsd will be alot or help to keep the power on the road? I will be looking for around 500-550ish bhp do you think this will be a good idea? If so does anyone have any advise on what 1 to go for Cheers
  13. Thanx Kirbz:duffer:
  14. Hi all, Im looking at these greddy front mounts they seem to come in various specs What is the advantages in the number of cores or rows? Is a row the same as a core? 2row http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_22&products_id=829&osCsid=3e46e201069861f54a05d0bd376ccba6 3row http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_22&products_id=830&osCsid=3e46e201069861f54a05d0bd376ccba6 single core http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/Trust-Greddy-Spec-R-HG-FMIC-Intercooler-Kit-Z32-Fairlady-Z-300ZX-Large-Single-Core-50781 twin core http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/Trust-Greddy-Spec-R-Intercooler-Kit-Z32-Fairlady-Z-300ZX-Twin-Core-50779 Regards Dan
  15. What sort of reps are you doing mate also do you touch the floor with your back each time you do a rep?
  16. I think ill leave the cam gears at the moment then. Thanx for the info Smithy! Ive already had the engine built i was just waiting for the tubs to complete. But now ill proberly change the gaskets to 1.2mm and fit the larger injectors and run a (DTA) chip you mensioned :) Hopefully i will get it right this time round  What RPS clutc would you advise for my car? Is there anything else you would change or add to my spec
  17. Thanx Smithy ill look into the chip could save alot of hassel :duffer: Do you think adjustable cam gears will be needed aswell? Thanx
  18. I thought Z1 was really good untill i started this thread:(
  19. Thanx for your replys guys:bow: I will order the 1.2mm gaskets a.s.a.p i want the engine to be as relible as poss;) I was going to go the stand alone ecu route as ive been told thats the only way i will get the best results out of my engine? Im going to run the car in on my bog standard ecu with my standard injectors using the Maf. Then once i have run the car in for a 1000 miles i was going to have the stand alone fitted ditching the Maf and putting the doolz (without Mafs)on and the bigger injectors! Would this be the best way to do this? P.s Stainless steel or the alumized stuff for the down pipes does it make much difference! Regards dan
  20. Hi edk83 I havent decided on air filters yet what would be best to go for? This is a problem i come up with before i was advised to go for a 1.0mm head gasket even tho i told them my heads have been skimmed will it still be ok? All i know about the plugs is they are iridium and heat grade 7 they worked fine before
