Cheers SMW but how did you get by the actuator problem?

Hi please help!! I picked up the engine yesterday which is complete except the Greg dupree manifolds and GT28rs turbos just needed to be fitted with the oil lines etc. My nightmare started when I tried to fit them! On the right hand side part of the block needs to be grinded back a little no major problem. But on the left hand side the HKS actuator hits the block making it impossible to fit:cry: Its also to close to the engine mount which may need cutting back. Any ideas people will be greatful Cheers Dan

Hi all, Ive taken my front water pipes off the engine today to replace the thermostat. When I took it off I noticed it had some sort of paper gasket on them both with the silcon glue. Ive tried ringing Nissans who didnt know of a 300zx :headvswal Do you mean a s14 sir? No you tw@t. Does anyone know if a gasket is availble for the pipes or the previous 2 had been made up? A mate of mine owns one i must admit i love the car! It handles like its on rails and the launches are unbelievable. The only thing I dont like is its mainly built out of ford parts.

I have a brand new unused chip from DTA who is a Trader on the site. The chip is to suit 555's all you need to do is get your ECU socketed. Would be a much cheaper opsion. PM if you want to know more details Dan

Hi All, Ive been talking to a mate of mine who thinks that with all my lightened gear im going to have alot of trouble starting off in my car like at traffic lights etc. And also mensioned that i will loose alot of torque? I have: 1 piece lightned prop 12lb flywheel full set of pulleys With a six puck clutch which i have driven another Zed with the same clutch and there aint much difference to the stock. Does anyone have the same sort of spec or know any better?? Cheers Dan

Hi all im hoping some of you have fitted the above. How did you get them to fit do i need a bracket or something?

Silver zed at the bottom of Vange hill drive going towards the A13. My other half also see you at Burntmills trading estate a few weeks back

It isnt a straight fit ive done the same! Abit of cutting here and there is needed to get it to fit nice. Also the button itself is to long i had to trim the back down where the prongs are and bend the prongs so it sit right. Mines out of the Honda S2000 I havent wired it up yet as the car is still off the road, But if you do it before me can you let me know how you done it as ive not even looked yet Cheers

The setup will be alot harder than normal standard shocks. You will have the opsion to make the suspension harder or softer with the EDFC but the coilovers would not be as soft as standard. Also the EDFC will not allow you to ajust height in anyway. Cheers

I would get your ecu checked a.s.a.p to see if its chipped. Otherwise you could run it to alot problems!

Hi All does anyone know how to fit the exterior trim on the B piller the shortest one of them all. Im not sure how the clips work and do i slide the trim on or press it on? Dnt want to damage the paint work. Also im guessing i have to take the targas apart to screw the trim on? Cheers
