GIBSTER-TT
Hi please help!! I picked up the engine yesterday which is complete except the Greg dupree manifolds and GT28rs turbos just needed to be fitted with the oil lines etc. My nightmare started when I tried to fit them! On the right hand side part of the block needs to be grinded back a little no major problem. But on the left hand side the HKS actuator hits the block making it impossible to fit:cry: Its also to close to the engine mount which may need cutting back. Any ideas people will be greatful Cheers Dan
SMW1
Yup GT28's need some mods, but then when fitted with GD manifolds, it pushes it out even more. When I got my jwt530bb's and GD manifolds fitted I have to get the block grinded as well. This is where you need someone like duffers input. GIBSTER-TT
Cheers SMW but how did you get by the actuator problem?
SMW1
The HKS are longer than the standard. The HKS bottom bolt (i.e left screw on bit) had to be cut down in order for it to fit. It's purely a solid screw and bolt, so you will not be damaging the acutator in any way. P.S. Call me Stu ;) Where in Essex are you ? *edit* that P.S. comment sounded a bit camp. I'm straight, married and happy :D
