Loud engine fan
Anyone confirm how so? Activate at a different temperature? because they will 'bolt in' both.

Loud engine fan
They are the same. I'll message you in a week's time when I get my hands on it.

What did you do to your zed today?
Ah out of all the zeds, never had one with an airbag in it :)

Series 2 Climate control features
Sorry to revive the thread. Surely the green is Series 1 ECU? Ive got 2x1990 cars and both have green stickered ECUs.

Loud engine fan
It should have some resistance, feels like its spinning in syrup, but should be easy to move.

Loud engine fan
Viscous coupling locked? Can you spin it freely with the engine switched off?

Loud engine fan
Do you have an electric fan instead of the viscous one?

One of these wheels is not like the other...
Hmm maybe there are screws on the inside? It's been a long time since I've taken apart an na wheel. But put simply you need to remove that contact bit.
-
One of these wheels is not like the other...
They changed it to add an airbag to the wheel for regulations. On the right, the plastic bit with the contact should pry off the wheel if you give it a tug (try not to rip the wire out). Then I believe you should be met by a familiar sight.

What did you do to your zed today?
Yeah it's a nightmare. I had to rip everything out and go back to stock.

Your new wheel is a simple na one yes. It uses a horn contact instead of the plug on the rotating assembly. If you take the contact plate off, you could wire the horn to the centre pin on the plug. Or swap the centres (I think)

How do I turn this damned snow off??
Turn off javascript. On most browsers, click the button to the left of the address bar (on chrome it says secure), and for javascript click always block. It may block other stuff though.

Chips and Remapping
It is an impul car so all the impul bells and whistles including bodykit ECU sway bars. The silver one belongs to SLICKTOP and is probably my favourite club car. This is a mapping thread though I'll try not to clutter it :)

Chips and Remapping
Just use Si or Simon. And Jeff is not a ECU chip maker or tuner, but a retired Z specialist. But lets move on :)

Chips and Remapping
Not your fault, tensions can rise but it will cool off. Just to take away, you can use a chip when going 14psi with exhaust and intake. In theory you can run 14psi stock ECU (one of my car's runs 12psi stock tune no problem at all), but it is more than power, a safety factor. If you want more power, say you have a selin kit and intercoolers, maybe some intake pipework. You will need larger injectors and therefore get a map for the car. That's not to say it's a bad idea to get a map on a 14psi setup.

Chips and Remapping
Ive always found Jap maps are rich because they have access to higher octane fuels.
