I got mine second hand of here , polished up the frames then realised Z centre do chromed plates and dont need them now as I am going to buy some of those, if you need any spare ones give me a shout as I have 6 going, ( car they were removed from they were all working fine) if you want all six you can have the polished plates as well and i will charge you what i got charged only a tenner a piece, if you take the polished plates they will want sealing as they are steel and will tarnish qiuckly

oh and check the rear drain holes before doing the sills as these can become blocked

it will be the prop bearing , take a good look at it to see what is wrong, a alternative is a lightweight single piece prop as these are a decent price now, the rear seal isnt easy but like jimmy said 4hrs should do it but check to see if its not a turbo oil feed pipe, get car on ramps and use some brake cleaner to clean off oil then check to see where its coming from remember if your pcv valves are sticking open your bottom end can become pressurised and oil can get pushed out of the rear seal, coil packs can be picked up for a tenner each at the moment, did he check and tension the connectors before pronouncing em dead?, the " ripples " are factory stonechip and the man is talking *****x , find a good garage take it to them and tell him to piss off

few tips for you , if you use a rotary buffer you can always just use a wet pad to stop burn in, try 3m machine glaze...you wont be dissapointed
