  1. I got those front tension rods and they didnt fit , they did not have enough adjustment and wouldnt go small enough, had to take them to a fabricator to have a bit of the shaft removed and the threaded portion in the shaft lengthened, they have offered me money off my next purchase with them
  2. this was mine after that routine, not like this now as it is a lot of work
  3. heres the full routine bud wash---speaks for itself polish---removes imperfections glaze ---adds depth and gloss to finish seal---if you want all your previous work to go to waste ignore this step, you can get long term sealants as well which will protect everything you have done before, these are usually acryllic finishes and most people would stop at this stage as they are a finish of their own, if you want a real show finish dont stop now. wax---this is the final gloss step, if you want a long term wax then thats fine but for that awesome gloss finish use p28's , you wont go back but it is a short term wax and will need a reapply every month
  4. my bucket thing solved the problem a treat as i have the 2 large vent centre panel on mine and it was a pain in the rain, now not one water issue, i will get around to making a proper fibreglass one soon
  5. m3 machine glaze is fandabbydozee for that glass finish
  6. you have got to remember there is a difference between a polish and a wax, take a look here it will help you choose something and give you a idea of how to do it, if its by hand try the sonus hand polish bundle, then if you havnt got a glass finish and there are still slight scratches try a wax with a high filler content http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/polishing/polish/cat_16.html
  7. im using a bucket cut in half and a round incision in the bottom fastened around my apexi and it cured my problem with water getting on the filter

  17. im still loving the trunk monkey
  18. dynamat is a heavy compound vibration/sound dedener , it helps stop panel vibration and absorbs sound waves, take a look at this stuff as is is more pointed at the sound absorbtion route if you want total silence then dynomet and stick this stuff to the dynomat http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/second-skin-motormat-p-4858.html http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/second-skin-luxury-liner-p-4855.html
  19. i had to put it back on the road before i had done any of the planned work due to a second car mishapp, see you there bud.
  20. Totally support lisa on this one, shes doing a sterling job in a massive region , main problem is that a meet is now something special for me as the cost of optimax is cutting down on my pleasure driving, filling up and using a tank and a half for one trip to bristol and back is now out of my range as that fuel will last me 4/5 good country drives down here on some of the most challenging roads around, dont get me wrong i love the community spirit that the meets engender but I bought the car to enjoy and if a long distance meet removes that from me then I will not go, having said that I do believe there are now enough Z's in the plymouth to penzance area that we could show some of the larger regions up with local meets( more people buying Z's down here because of the fantastic drives?) and it now warrants having a north south divide on the region, if this happens lisa gets my vote for the southern REO as once again let me state i believe she is doing a great job. On a side note do you all know sunday streetwars is back on at the dragstrip?
