Scary eh, my daughter was stopped by two police officers with my grandchild after coming back from a doctor's appointment. They quizzed her for sometime, somewhat aggressively on why the little girl was not in school, despite my daughter explaining they had been to the doctors, they called the school to confirm the absence report, all the time my granddaughter was terrified and kept saying we have done nothing. I have lived in a 3rd world country for many years and experienced corrupt and incompetent policing and have always defended our bobbies, however it's starting to show now the ineptitude and arrogance of certain members of the force. Sign of the times eh, Groover, you are most likely spot on. Easy pickings and keeps the boxes ticked and the funds rolling in.

I was taught from a young age, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all! Totally agree. I'm F**ked off of reading comments that are" IMO" or " I must say" . Quite frankly, it's childish and does not go down well. I have never made a negative comment about anyone's Zed, God knows we pump enough love and cash into our cars and if someone said the things to me that I read on here face to face, I would react, strongly. I don't like keyboard warriors and trolls. Piss me off.

Late afternoon spin to Old Warden, a couple of vintage planes flying round today, this is built in 1939, what a beaut :-)

I noticed this chap had retained the tango rear lights as an OEM statement, like me, and thought to myself, WOW, that wing must be OEM + at the most then, I wonder if I could keep to my original OEM intentions with a wing like that as well. And then I put the bottle of JD down and walked away.

Like so many of my cars when I was younger, I don't have photos, but she looked a lot like the above, with much better wheels.

Ha ha Mr Mondo, mine was in electric green with a strange dashboard that was digital, it had a phone inside that didn't work as well, it's lump was a bog standard 1200 vw, it looked the nuts but was slow and reliable. I used to drive from Brum to pendine sands / saundersfoot every weekend I could and go camping in it, a great car and the attention it got was incredible for its day. I loved the roof opening on it.

Morris Marina. It was beige. Swapped it for a 1600 GT Capri.red with black vinyl roof. Customised Ford Anglia after that. Then a procession of cars including mk 1 rs 2000, Dutton phaeton, customised 58 Ford pop, 260z left hooker, beach buggy, nova kit car, 2000GT viva, triumph spitfire, triumph stag, biggest pile if shit ever.

Picked Purple Haze up from LA Autos on Saturday. Lee and Sam have done a terrific job on the cavity wax (dinitrol) and I managed to translate the Japanese to get my sounds working correctly. Big thanks to Lee for all his hard work on her.
