  1. hmm, thats what duffmeister tells me. i was led to believe they are about £200 ea?! hes letting me know later. may still be a repair job! :D
  2. well after further investigation today my zed is just going to cost too much to repair the good old rotten sill syndrome compared to how much its worth, so looks like it will be broken for parts & scrapped! :o15: had her for over 6 years & was hoping to repair & sell, bit gutted really. really pi$$ed off TBH!
  3. been there, done that. as hard as it may seem, if its not working out it can only be for the best :)
  4. lower steering coupling is about £100 is iirc. dead easy to remove & install in about 10 mins. parking brake if just adjustment is dead easy & pads are feck all! jeez, thought my prices were expensive in a merc dealership LOL!!!
  5. LOL!! not sure whats funniest, the ad in the link or this thread
  6. all apart from the flywheel would be cheap

  10. I would get the one with the analogue controller - oh I already have!! :D digital controller looks swish & can give you more adjustments, but I think the basic adjuster has more than enough settings. launch is a bit too much of a gimmick IMO so dont bother with that. group buy going on at the moment here too :)
  11. RLTC is great when cornering!! the software even allows you to set up different slip levels for straight line control or when cornering! :)
  12. HUH?!? duffers been banned??! :wack: one injector going down wont affect the others, from memory they have a common feed & the ecu controls the flow by pulsing the earth line. it would be more than likely something like a coolant temp sensor or air mass sensor etc that would cause the ecu to overfuel
  13. are you checking it running?
  14. as said - worn ring!
  15. LOL!! no, thankfully not the pubic variety!! :D
  16. my g/f had them in for ages, i fooking hated them! they are all out now thankfully!
  17. no, its not testable at all :p
  18. i have known hydraulic tappets to jack open & cause lack of compression due to sticking oil pressure relief valves causing excessivly high oil pressure. just a thought
  19. its not mapped for a different air intake setup to yours is it? IE dual MAF etc?
  20. LOL! you will spend more in repairs than you save on fuel!! engines are good for about 60,000!!! oil pressure goes, turbo goes & bottom end goes! check for rattles & smoking ;)
  21. http://300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=29063 ;)
  22. we went here BTW :) http://sharmelsheikh.concorde-hotels.com/en/?
  23. went to the Sharm last year! great hotel complex, diving absolutly amazing with a coral reef et the end of the hotels own private beach! scorching weather! great destination! downside (for me) was if you like going into towns for a lookabout & drink in the evenings its pretty crap & your better off confined to your hotel, so make sure you book a good one!! :D
