  1. You should refuse to test ;) Refusal to test: g. A proper examination cannot be carried out because any door, tailgate, boot, engine cover, fuel cap or other device designed to be readily opened cannot be readily opened. Paul
  2. LOL! Who cares?! Quote what ever you want if your engine has been dynoed! Its like saying dont quote peak power as how many times do you use full throttle :tt2: At the end of the day when your in front cos you used NOS its no good the other person saying "well, he didnt really win cos he used NOS" Oh - & NOS is not a fuel, it is simply a way of getting a more oxygen rich fill in the cylinder to burn the same petrol thats in your tank! A bit like turbos really ;)
  3. Happy birthday james me old mate! Hope to get the zed back together & see you at a meet again soon!! :D
  4. Another piccie! No work done but some goodies turned up!! Nice new HID kit!! :thumbup1:
  5. its ok I guess - no where near as nice as the coupe IMO! Am surprised they went for a soft top - folding hard tops look so much better IMO & far more modern (& dont give me no weight saving BS for a soft top LOL!) :hammer:
  6. A while ago the USA guys were playing with uprated internals for the recirc valves to hold higher boost giving the benefits of a recirc valve over dump valves (like no farty type noise every time you lift off the throttle!) Any ideas if this is still a possibility - did start looking into it before the zed got took off the road! :hammer:
  7. Shame about the 0 feedback - f**k bidding on those LOL!
  8. Ah - how funny LOL!! :clown: But it isnt really - is it?!
  9. Ah - an on topic post! How refreshing! :clown: No - the hose went from the drivers side tank through the inner wing & just vented to atmoshpere here! All ripped out now along with the PRVR can & valve
  10. No piccies today but AIV's & PRVR canister & all vacuum tubes, solenoids removed etc. :)
  11. Sh!t off you lot! :death:
  12. It will depend on the wheels tho - my 17" rims have the spokes about 5mm away from the calipers! No way bigger discs will fit! :crying: Check the clearance on the spokes to the calipers!
  13. will you 2 pack it in - get your own thread to wink yourselves on! :slap: :lol::lol:
  14. LOL - you two are a right couple of winkers!!
  15. I dont trust anyone! :tongue_smilie:
  16. Well the solenoids just open the AIV valves under the wheelarch that then allow air in from the tanks - was just expecting some sort of pressure system really like we have on Mercs!! Still - all gone now allong with the PRVR too! :thumbup1: lost about 100m of vacuum pipe I reckon LOL :D
  17. ok - stand down! Should have looked a little harder  The pipe in question just goes through the inner wing to atmosphere! All ripped out now  Just doesnt make sense where people say it can affect the idle on a standard ECU as it doesnt even link into the intake - which is what I was assuming LOL!
  18. Dont forget we are talking about 2 different gasses here! The MOT test does not check CO2 emissions! It only tests CO! CO (carbon monoxide) is formed during combustion & is relatively low (0.3% or lower on modern cars) CO2 (carbon dioxide) is a by product of any combustion & will be quite high! (14% or so) Actually the better the fuel is burning the higher this will be!! Making matters worse is the fact that the cats on a vehicle convert CO & HC's into CO2  Paul
  19. I had to take my wings off anyway! :)
  20. Yes mate - part of the fittings in the building now!!!
  21. Hi - it is a TT manual - there is another tank below the AIV one on a manual TT for the clutch booster - I think you are talking about that. :)
  22. Will be pulling it all out tomorrow myself anyway - just wondered if anyone knew! :) Thanks anyway! Paul
  23. Hi - yes, if thats the one that goes through the inner wing! Paul
