Bang on mate - LSD vehicles like the Z32 should be tested with a tapley meter to measure braking efficiency. (Unless like us you have a nice plate brake tester! But not many garages do). "Vehicles not to be tested on a roller brake tester Certain vehicles should not be tested on a roller brake tester, eg vehicles with: More than one driving axle permanently engaged Limited-slip differential Belt-driven transmission Brakes for which the servo operates only when the vehicle is moving These vehicles should be tested using a properly calibrated and maintained decelerometer or a plate brake tester designated as acceptable for the statutory tests, see Sub Section 3.7 B, page 25, and C, page 26. A roller brake test is also not appropriate for vehicles with damaged, under-inflated or studded tyres."

Power from a TT
LOL! Dont forget non power upgrades are a must! Brakes, suspension, traction control is a great mod especially when upping the power. Being able to handle well & brake well are just as important!!

Power from a TT
The clutch will also need replacing if you up to boost - an uprated clutch & a lightweight flywheel at the same time is a good idea. Lightweight underdrive pulley will help also. After that its big bucks on tubs, injectors & internals etc How fast can you afford to go?! LOL!

You could say that LOL! Make sure you fill the sills with wax to protect it & ensure the targa drains are in good order! :)

Hang on in there bud! Its the nature of the beast doing a major rebuild I guess! Its a bit annoying as I didnt scrimp on the panel work - found a proper restoration company & it probably cost around £1200 just for the metal work as I didnt just want it patched! New genuine nissan sills & rear repair panels & wheel arches so it would be as good as it could be!

Well, havnt reported anything as got a bit demoralised last week (as you do with these rebuilds!). Was under the car ready to treat the underside & seam sealer all the joints when I noticed a patch that the restoration shop had not welded properly  Good news is they came straight over & are getting it back in to re-weld (they had tacked some plates in position but not welded it up). Bad new is that its right on the wheel arch & may need repainting! :crying: Good news is they have agreed to pay my mate for any paintwork needed! :thumbup1: At least they are putting it right but just adds more time to the build! So, collected it from the bodyshop & got it back to my garage - time to get a few bits done now. Spoiler now on & 99 rear lights in. Looking good!

aliens
Or maybe not LOL! There are loads of things that are unexplained but that does not mean there is no explanation! Peoples own imagination often distorts the truth - with all the UFO sightings, ghost sightings, phychic phenomonon, telekenisis & just about all other paranormal activities like Uri Gella that spoon bending mofo I cannot believe that there is not one scrap of hard evidence to support any of it!! People like to believe in the fantastic but much of it will remain fantasy IMO. Like I said tho - who knows, maybe some spoon bending ghost of an alien will come down to earth & read some tarot cards to me to show how wrong I am about it all!!

aliens
I guess thats the thing - I dont believe that anything is possible! Some things just cant happen, regardless of technology. Movies portray a fantastic world where just about anything is possible especially in sci fi. Nice thought but unlikely IMHO!

aliens
I know - was only a jest bud! I just mean that just because life has been around for thousands or even millions of years that the impossible can be done with technology - there are always limitations of what can be achieved. I know none of us know for sure but I just dont think FTL travel or even close to it is possible. Just my beliefs :)

aliens
It is & think it is really interesting myself! :) Just still think interstellar travel is pretty unlikely even with a super advanced technology. Also in all the years of SETI bugger all has been picked up! I think they did pick up a blip once but nothing was ever proved. Who knows though - maybe we will one day know for sure :alien:

There were some pretty impressive feats back then, but sometimes think people look to far into it all LOL!
-
aliens
True, but just because society becomes more advanced that does not mean that anything is possible! IMO it is extremely unlikely but I stand to be corrected in 30,000 years time :whistling: Sharks have been around for millions of years but they cant fly to the next planet!! :D

aliens
LOL! So why do you think that they have already been here?! Barring some fantasy warp principle the amount of energy to get to the speed of light (or even near it) to get to us is rediculous! The more energy you carry the more mass you have so the more energy you need to propell the additional energy! Also the amount of time to actually accellerate to any speed to allow interstella travel would take several lifetimes! Otherwise you would be alien jam on the back wall of the spaceship! LOL!

aliens
I believe there must be other life out there on other worlds, to think we are the only ones in the universe is sooooooooo unlikely IMO! I also think that the chances of them ever reaching us is equally unlikely LOL!

Racelogic TC fitting Instructions?
No probs mate. Just had a quick scan - the instructions say the ABS unit is behind the passenger seat - I guess this is for a SWB LHD vehicle - on a RHD LWB it is behind the side panel behind the drivers seat where the seatbelt dissapears :)

Removing scratches on glass
Remove the outer seal running along the top of the door frame - it is probably caked with dust & dirt - clean with soapy water & blast out with a pressure washer then allow to dry - it should be a nice soft felt!

Nissan part only so Mike at MJP in the traders section - be sure to replace the hoses too as these get hard & brittle with age. Not too bad a job. Plenty of write ups on this :)
