  1. The ECU can be mapped for up to 5 bar of boost instead of 3.5?! :scooter: Or is that too obvious LOL?!
  2. Regardless of if the driver was guilty of DD or not the police are there to set an example & should be sacked for driving like this IMO :sneaky2: FFS it was clearly being driven recklessly & could have endangered lives :glare:
  3. Well, they have just turned up & am well impressed so far! Quality seems really good - all lined with foam on the inside & appear very nicely made. Proof of the pudding will be when fitted I know. Will update when fitted :balloon:
  4. Was supposed to be silver but duffer painted it :sneaky2:
  5. Ideally you want 0.3 amp draw on say a 60Ah battery would mean the battery would be completely dead flat in around 180 hours (or 7.5 days). :smartass:
  6. Ooh! - looky what turned up today :tt1:
  7. I got mine from Smithy years ago - ask Danny at DTA (trader on here) as he took over Smithys buisiness :)
  8. LOL!! We used to launch plastic oil drums with them - they would clear the roof of our workshop!! My mate always wanted to stand on one but I told him not to be so fooking stupid!! :stupid: LOL!
  9. Thanks guys :) Hopefully the next batch of pics should be with the bodywork completed!! Should be getting down next week for a few final bits to get it road legal so I can drive it back to my workshop to start with the rest of the rebuild LOL! My mate has done a great job with a few little mods - front panel smoothed, rear aerial removed & smoothed, the black door posts & the grey bits on the mirrors have been done in black & hes added a slight blue pearl tint to it also! Scuttle panels & wiper arms are just waiting to be done in satin to finish it off!!
  10. A couple more pics - was back there this morning, front bumper on, door handles in, windows lined up etc:
  11. Thanks Stu :) Will reserve judgement until its all finished!!
  12. Prob not this year now - was hoping but by the time its back together I dont think I will have the time :(
  13. putting more of the zed back together tomorrow LOL!
  14. Nice - although I wonder why the RWHP graph crosses over at a lower rpm - torque & HP should be the same at 5252rpm as in the first 2 graphs but the 3rd is lower?!
  15. Not a testable item regardless of if its fitted or not. Neither is the tracking checked or testable. :)
  16. & he's not even buffed it yet!!
  17. Started rebuilding tonight - wings on, rear bumper on, doors realigned & a few other little bits done - door pillars need painting black, scuttle trims painted black, wiper arms etc & hopefully will rebuild a bit more on sat morning. Couple more pics:

  23. Pretty much all is painted apart from the spoiler now  apparently the 99 replica wasnt all that & has taken a fair amount of time prepping to get it right - all the seams were a little rough to be honest - should be good when its finished, at least it is with someone that is taking the time to prep it :) Plan to go down wednesday after work to start putting it all together  once I get the main things done to get it road legal I can get it back to my workshop to finish it
