  1. stops you stacking your car!!!!:D it cuts the fuel supply & therefore power to the rear wheels when slip is detected. it does this much faster than you can, so you can safely floor it without the rear end beaking away. it is a race bred system with adjustabe slip control - so in the wet you can have near zero slip, & in the dry have a little sideways action without too much risk!
  2. well by me, but a few of my mates have told me about a kitted purple zee driving around?? anyone here?? and PURLEEEEEEEEEEESSSSE refrain from the usual "nope not mine" etc etc. :D :D :D (like thats gonna stop you all  )

  9. that'll be the turbo then :( dont drive it anymore!!!!!! at least not till you get it checked & repaired, you risk doing more damage

  13. LOL!! Cats will definatly NOT like fuel going through them & will FCUK them quicker than you can say "more expense" !! :D as Andy says, its the injectors it cuts out
  14. hope all goes well & keep us informed on your work! :)
  15. its prob the same!! centre prop bearing and/or rear gearbox mount do a search!! :D
  16. iv been running at a little over 1 bar for some time now - on standard turbos. a fair few here are too. with uprated units it should be no problem at all (assuming your engine isnt about to fall apart!! ;) ) JWT claim (on standard turbos) 1 bar boost, JWT chip, filter, exhaust 396bhp (at the flywheel). which are the mods im running. some people say JWT's claim is a little high tho. not actually dyno'd mine (or really that bothered!! :D ) its quite a jump up from standard tho ;) how much for the IC's?? a couple of guys on here sell uprated jobbies ;) 555's arnt really nessessary with these mods IMO. but if you go any further then yes

    yes, 32 front 35 rear
  18. around 1 bar is about as far as you want to go i'd say. larger intercoolers are a very good idea - better performance & reliability 555 injectors refer to the amount they can flow - 555cc, stock ones are around 370 IIRC, they allow for more power & higher boost. stock injectors will max out & run weak if you turn the boost up too high HTH
  19. if they're hybrids then they should give power increase - hybrids are a hybrid of 2 turbo's, usually a smaller turbine section (to allow fast spool up) mated to a larger compressor ( for large air flow) so are they stage 1 hybrids or just stage 1 turbo's with uprated internals??

as waz says - no problemo if above min thickness. in fact, my mate who worked for mitsubushi said their new disks were so bad they used to skim all the new ones they fitted!!
  21. Clarkey - you must have one of those Government Digital Number Plate Enhancers that you alway see in the movies!!!! :D :D
  22. Tony - find a garage with a Cylinder Leakage Tester. you can accuratly diagnose the problem then. as Andy suggests - it does sound top end if it only rises by 20 psi with oil in the bores
  23. im afraid your all wrong, it is, infact, an advanced equasion proving the end of the time/space continuum in the universe, causing the end of everything that exists apart from very small lemmings.
