!!!!! 300 miles, jeez, i thought i was fanatical changing it every 3000 miles!!! seriously tho, modern oils should be capable of exceeding that by far, have you changed your PCV's & breathers? it could be contamination in the oil from the breather system if its not venting correctly.
  2. with UK no plate: didnt look that bad TBH, but i do prefer it with the smaller one now ;)
  3. how have you ruled out the turbo? have you replaced the PCV valves & hoses? when does it smoke - under full throttle, idle, when 1st started??
  4. i'll prob be up for this. will know for deffo nearer the time :)
  5. LOL!! sent mine back without signing it, they still sent my licence back with 3 points on & charged me £60!! i think unless you want to take it further in court, which could prove even more costly, the "dont sign it trick" dont work!!
  6. if you look at the piccie of mine - you can just see the edge of the moulding for the no plate. :)
  7. they are from different sources - perhaps some reviewers were worse drivers than others!! :slap: also - not all are stock ;)
  8. look here :)
  9. you could use standard crimp connectors to get you by.
  10. its not silver, nor does it have a uk front no plate, but it is a 99 spec front & its mine - & i like it :D

LOL!! im guessing you mean CRANK seal, rather than a seal for your crack!! (too much wind??:D ) front or rear?? rear is gearbox off to do & is prob the most common
  13. isnt that ChrisC's??
  14. we use Elite, though iv also used Forte, both of which are good. wouldnt worry to much about "crap" being dragged through, as most of the problem is from laqour in the fuel which gets deposited on injectors which fuel cleaner will remove. :)
  15. good info. i was thinking about stripping mine down to see if i could tension the spring more or fit heavier duty ones to try & cure this. :)
  16. ps have i mentioned before that this used a manual gearbox???!! ;) :D
  17. yup - top car. been posted lots of times before, but always good to see a 261mph record breaking zed ;) :)

what sort of times were you all running?? sounds like fun :)
  21. well, most of the wheels we send are smooth, they repair any dents/scuffs & paint the wheels. not sent any stock zed wheels before so i'll ask them if the finish is a problem if you want me to
  22. Hi Gio, I can get Lepsons in Medway to do them for £35 per wheel if your interested. i'll check on the grain pattern on the surface if you want me to, but dont think it would be a problem TBH :)
  23. Dont be silly! fully synthetic oil has been around for ages!! ;)
