LOL!! you *could* do a search - theres gotta be at least 10,000 posts on this!!:D but to put you out of your suffering: mig tips (boost jets as some like to call them) go in the wastegate lines to fool the wastegates into opening later, giving you a higher boost. you will also need to get the ECU chipped & a decent boost gauge. its a cheap & easy alternative to a boost controller

  11. sounds like the release bearing, usually replaced as a complete kit as you have to remove the gearbox just to do the bearing anyway.
  12. i had mine repaired with rear 1/4 damage, it will depend on value of the car obviously, & different ins co's have different write off %, so it will depend on them ultimatly. good luck - i know how it feels :(
  13. we'll have none of that in here you know :slap:
  14. LOL!! only you could be so happy with such bad news!!! :D im happy for you too mate!!
  15. hmmm, a relocated det sensor - just a thought. if the sensor is relocated, it *could* be picking up false signals, it may be thinking its detting & lower the boost. this wont give an error code as the det sensor circuit is good. like i said - just a thought :)
  16. "Nelson blows goats!" :D

  21. on the same note then why are other threads, esp The Zed Story, which has been running for weeks now, still in this forum??
  22. it would have to be quite extreme to increase the temp by that much, i would have thought it would be pinking its nuts off if that was the case & you would notice performance problems too
