CCleaner is a good free tool to clean up your laptop, just make sure you dont install any of the bloatware they include or pay for it. The free version is enough. I would also be watching task manager (right click on the tast bar top open) and see what the system processes are doing. Is anything hogging CPU, RAM, Hard drive or Network. Give me a call if you need anything

I would trace the voltage back and try and work out where its stopping. If you were playing with the dials I would start there. If you have replaced anything with LEDs these can cause issues as their power draw is less than normal bulbs and have been know to cause problems

I had an email from the organisers yesterday. They have made the decision to cancel this years show due to the new ULEZ zone and not being able to find a location outside the zone.

We have been invited to display at the Jap 'n' Car Festival in France on the weekend of the 1st & 2nd June 2024. We were approached by the shows organisers during the NEC Classic Car show. The organisers were impressed with our stand and the quality of the cars. The show is a two day event hosted at a racetrack just south of Paris. The race track is of a similar heritage to the Brooklands track here in the UK, but this one has survived and can be driven/raced on. I have been liasing with the organisers and the Zed Car Register to have a joint stand as we MUST have a minimun for 10 cars to qualify. The plan would be to have a club long weekend. Drive down to the accommodation on the Friday, attend the show and drive back on the Monday. Merry belated Christmas all!

I have wired in my HIDs behind the nose panel so that no wiring can be seen. The MOT tester said if he cant see anything after market, then he cant fail it. Also; there are various stories of people on here taking bits of the MOT rules and the Nissan brochure to their MOT to show that the car was sold originally with HIDs. That can also be worth a try.

That normally means the battery doesnt have enough umpff to turn the starter motor. Try and new battery or better, jump it off another car.

I think I would have taken the A5, they look a look better than that merc in my humble, blind opinion! 😅

Did BMW really give you a merc as a courtesy car?!

Yes, it does look better! Glad I did that during the show. It hasnt fallen off yet either!. Wheels with spacers to fill the arches better next....
