  1. Message from the organiser: "Hello there, so yes driver and display car do go free including one adult passenger as long as they have pre booked into the show." I have an excel spreadsheet that I am filling out that was send to me by the organiser. I will send it back to him before the cut-off date so if you are on the list, you will attend this show for free!
  2. Welcome, its nice to see another one saved! How much rust did you find after 12 years?! Its looking good, hopefully see you out and about at some meets and shows
  3. Thought I would try ChatGPT so asked it to write a tribute using her song titles. Its worked but not quite what I wanted. I didnt want a song, more a paragraph tribute using as many titles as possible. Oh well, here it is anyway Title: "Unbreakable Spirit: A Tribute to Tina Turner" Verse 1: In the "Land of a Thousand Dances," a star was born, Tina Turner, a legend whose voice would adorn. From "River Deep, Mountain High," her journey would start, A force of nature with a fire in her heart. Chorus: Oh, Tina, you're our "Proud Mary," forever shining bright, Your "GoldenEye" blazing through the darkest night. With "Private Dancer" grace and a "Simply the Best" refrain, Your music echoes on, a legacy that will remain. Verse 2: Through "Trouble Every Day," you found strength within, A "Nutbush City Limit" girl, ready to begin. With "What's Love Got to Do with It?" you showed the way, To rise above the pain, and let your spirit sway. Chorus Bridge: From the "Steamy Windows" of your soul, You "Let's Stay Together," filling us with hope. Through "Better Be Good to Me," you taught us strength, To stand tall and proud, no matter the length. Verse 3: With "We Don't Need Another Hero," you conquered all, Breaking boundaries, smashing through every wall. From "Nutbush to Paradise," your voice soared high, Inspiring generations, reaching for the sky. Chorus Outro: Though the stage may fade, and the lights may dim, Your spirit lives on, a timeless hymn. We'll forever cherish your "Tenderly," your soulful art, Tina Turner, forever etched in our hearts.
  4. I dont have a youtube, does that mean I dont know my onions? 😅
  5. I bet it would still start though.... This makes me sad. Such a stupid incentive and for what? too have more diesels on the road which ended up being caught in Diesel-gate anyway? I can see 3 silvias and a 200sx I would happily try and save there.... Im trying to work out what the three infront of the zeds are? Toyota Soarers?

  7. Just had an email from the organisers: "With just three weeks to go until the 2023 Bromley Pageant of Motoring it is looking like club space will sell out ahead of the advertised closing date of 2nd June 2023, just as it did in 2022! We have a limit to the number of club vehicles we are allowed to have on site so once that space has sold out you will not be able to add any more vehicles to your stand and will then only be able to purchase additional passenger tickets through your club access code up until Midnight on 10th June 2023. Space is allocated based on how many club tickets have been purchased (not by how much space you requested when asking for your booking code) so please let your members know they need to get booked in if they haven’t already as they may miss out." Please book soon if you haven't already to avoid disappointment!
  8. It was that time of year again on Thursday. Happy to say that 4261 miles driven and a nice green pass! I also managed to sneak a look underneath and there was nothing to worry about. All underseal still perfect, not a hint of rust anywhere. All good for another year 😁
  9. Ooops, missed this! Happy belated birthday!
  10. Sorry chaps, work have sent me to Newcastle for a week for work. I have to be there by 9am Monday morning, so need to leave on the Sunday. I've looked into trying to make it work including leaving my car at Richards, but it just didn't work without cutting short someone's show to run me to the train station. Ian: I can send you my tickets if you want
  11. Attending: 1) TheRealNips 2) Craig (maybe)? 3) Richard Smith + Julia 4) Joely P 5) 6) 7) 😎

  14. I have sold many things via eBay. I stopped using packlink months ago after issues. I was using UPS but after a fiasco over them loosing a parcel and refusing to pay the extra insurance I took out, I have stopped them. I have been using royal mail since. I always send signed for 2nd class and *crosses fingers* never had a problem yet. I do suggest royal mail in future because they are reliable, not badly priced when compared to the ratio of the parcel actually turning up and finally, you can actually talk to them!
  15. Very nice! I washed'ed mine for the summer: And washed'ed mine other car:
  16. I'm not sure how I did it either, but glad I did! Just need to make sure I don't get the bug now... 😆
  17. Sorry for the late update. I know its a few days after the London Marathon, but I finished it and had to go straight to work all week! On Sunday the 23rd April, I ran the marathon. I reached my goal of running the whole 26.2 miles, no walking! I did have to stop for a pee 3 times, but made sure I ran to and from the portaloos. I wasnt aiming for a time, but my time ended up being 5 Hours 19 Minutes 27 Seconds! I'm happy with that! I struggled at 25km, 38km, 39km and 40km, but the crowd, my father and wife who were there, all the donations and messages from people and talking to myself(!) got me through it! Even @Joely P was there! The atmosphere was incredible, it was like a 26 mile long street party, bars, shops, restaurants, cafes were all open and customers crowded on the pavements cheering the runners on. People setup anything from Bluetooth speakers to full DJ equipment to blast music and cheer people on. some of the pubs were handing free pints to some of the less serious runners as they passed! I reached my goal of £2000, so far the total is £2416, so a massive thank you to everyone here who donated and if you haven't, you are more than welcome to do so with the link below. Every penny is going to Great Ormond Street Hospital to help children with medical issues to have the best treatment they can. https://2023tcslondonmarathon.enthuse.com/pf/tom-nicholls
  18. Nothing happened down our way, its strange. We celebrate the other patron saint days in the calendar, but as soon as you put an England flag up, you get labelled as a racist/brexiteer/football hooligan/thug, etc I might start celebrating Chinas national day instead 😁
  19. https://remont-bampera.com/en/nissan-300-zx I searched for a guide and couldn't find it either. @JaiKai Do we have a guide floating around?
  20. PowerZed, the specialist, down near Bristol will do an excellent job of rebuilding the engine and giving it a good service and checking it after its been standing for so many years.
