£10.54 Nissan Fairlady Z label rear 93094-30P01 £6.65 Label Rear 93094-42P10 is the big black sticker £9.34 Label Rear 93094-40P02 says Twin Turbo plus VAT from the estimable Mr Feeney (and no, I don't get commission!) Now the question is, and apologies to cully z for TWOCing his thread, since I have a J-spec Twin Turbo, the stock look is just to have Nissan Fairlady Z on the left. So shall I keep it stock or stick on Twin Turbo as well to make me feel I have a bigger ego and to confuse Nissan Z-spotting anoraks? :D - Gio
  2. Starting from the forum home page click on RIDES up there at the top in the middle then click Edit Your Ride Details You can then upload your files, pics, html whatever HTH - Gio

mike@mjpauto.com http://www.mjpauto.com is where I got mine from. Oh, I forgot - you will need the black sticker that goes behind it as well. (I thought it was painted but it isn't.) Nissan Fairlady Z label rear 93094-30P01 Label Rear 93094-42P10 is the big black sticker and just for the sake of completeness although I believe it is not put on J-spec car the LH Twin Turbo sticker is Label Rear 93094-40P02 (Must get round to putting these on one day!) HTH - Gio :D
  5. Actually I had to come back and edit this and urge everyone who is thinking of sending their bank details over the internet please DON'T. It's a horrendous security risk. Even if you know that everyone you are sending to (people or companies) are as pukka as a very pukka thing, e-mails are insecure and prey to zillions of pimply faced hackers all over the place. Unless, of course, you are experienced at PGP or similar or trust https. Stick to cheques! OTOH, Dave, if you wanted to let people send you money across the net, then you could take a look at http://www.fastpay.com It's from NatWest so it's in £ and should be pukka and doesn't cost anything for you to sign up and receive money. It costs people 20p (I think) to send. Cheers - Gio
  6. Mike Feeney will know - he's got microfiche for UK / US / Jap 01277 374201 mike@mjpauto.com http://www.mjpauto.com HTH - Gio
  7. Actually, you're right - I misread. As usual ;) Sorry to bite your head off but I had seen the replies that peeps had given and thought WTF. Will engage brain before posting next time. So you've had 4 helpful replies and one grouch - not a bad average :D - Gio
  8. Someone moved the thread you posted into For Sale and Wanted and you got a reply. You posted the same question in AndyZ and he replied to you. No one has thrown his toys out of the pram because you are advertising a car without paying like other forum members. (See the sticky thread about membership.) And we get accused of being not very helpful? If you do a search on here for auto box and similar, you'll find loads of posts about good rebuilders, bad ones and pros and cons of changing to manual or not. I could do that for you but then we're not very helpful are we ;) lol
  9. Quite right. Also, if we want to attract more traders to the forum - to help raise dosh and get a wider supply of services - having a section dedicated to naming and shaming is not going to help, exactly. Just in case we forget, there is already a price check section so good value / expensive prices for parts can always be posted here. Just don't call the company a bunch of effing crooks as that might get you / the forum into trouble. :D

And if anyone did accidentally post the "r" word, then of course they could always edit to remove the admission.

Of course no one would ever post anything referring to illegal acts on a public forum where they could be read by any curious passer-by. Doing the "r" word on the Queen's highway is such an act and of course no-one here does such naughty things..

Try here, Eric - lots of good advice. http://www.speed-trap.co.uk/Accused_Home/Accused_Home.htm Good luck - Gio
  13. It's so that the waiter who took your card away to pay the bill last time you went out to eat (and copied down your card number) can't ring up Courtesy Nissan and get £'000s of bits delivered to his home paid for by your card. Cheers - Gio
  14. hahahahahaha :D :D and how about the Spanish fireman who had twin sons José and Hose B
  15. To add to what Paul said, I had my driver's side unlock fail twice and when I got a different bloke to have a look at it, his story was that there are two ways to fix the motor to the door lock/unlock mechanism. a) just clamp the motor's arm to the door lock cable b) use a proper bracket to fix the arm to the cable. If you do a) (he said) every time you lock/unlock the door, you are flexing the cable which eventually snaps where you clamped the arm to it. Now he told me this after he had charged me for the fix and put the door panel back so I have no proof / pics. But it sounded logical. Just before the whole thing failed entirely, I had "anomalous" behaviour - wouldn't unlock one side, wouldn't unlock one side but would the other etc so I wonder if yours is on the way out? HTH - Gio
  16. If I ever said anything nasty about Italians, I hereby take it all back, What a sensible, educated, rational people - especially their transport minister. :D Seen in this month's Bike magazine.
  17. http://www.300zx.org.uk/mod_comp_1.htm and much more on AndyP's site. Insurance varies so much, you just have to ask them. Cheers - Gio
  18. So you like being in pain, then? :D - Gio
  19. 33 front 36 rear - at least that's on mine! HTH - Gio
  20. Yesterday (after a trundle in the country) the radiator cap blew off the rad and all the coolant went whoosh all over the road. This was after about an hour on the M4 at less than 90, followed by about 10 mins at 40. RAC bloke who filled up the system said the cap couldn't have been on properly as they never come undone by themselves. Has anyone else had a cap do this? (Real Nissan rad cap, real Nissan rad, no mods). Cheers - Gio
  21. As for your foam not curing problem, why not try TT Tim's suggestion? It would seem that a 2 part foam would cure all through much better than an air-hardeneing one when you exclude air from it! ;) Cheers - Gio
  22. Hallo matey - you know who you are;) Thanks for pulling over- happily, the RAC bloke was only 5 mins behind you. It looks as if the rad cap just blew off (which everyone says means it wasn't properly on in the first place). Loads of RAC water later and trundly off home - no leaks (so far fingers crossed). Hope you find the bits to get your NA sorted soon. Thanks again - Gio :p

Hi Matty which Rover Coupe was that then? The 220?. Anyway, to help you offload yours and get back to owning a proper car, have you tried these sites? http://www.btinternet.com/~james_white/links.htm http://www.rovercoupe.com/ Good luck - Gio
  24. Jeez Andy - hope the pair of you aren't hurting too bad and get better quickly. - Gio
  25. Thanks, Paul - I always like looking at that Jun 300ZX. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but is it not only a manual but also still after all these years quicker than the Jun Poopras, Skylines and all the other cars they tried to break the record with since then?
