I have about 20mm play in the sterringwheel when you shake the wheel with the ingintion off .could this be the bottom uj joint knackered is this a common fault or do these cars have a rubber ring half way up.I know the 200sx has one and they change it for a metal ring to make steering more resonsive.If its the lower uj is it a nissan dealer job to buy and what sort of a job is it to fit thanks taff.

if I/we supply just a main hoop of the right shape and straight tube to weld on that will be the cheapest option.Yes thats fine mate i know a good welder in my area keep me posted if and when you get i price i can pick up no probs also do you know the diameter of the tube thanks taff.

No 60mm is 60mm.

I could be intrested in a cage rear hoop with maybe 2 cross bars i would prefer a bolt in kit i can fit myself.My car is a swb slicktop so it dosent matter about cross bars in the back .I dont want front cage or any door bars thanks taff. :)

Beaware some early evos use 4 stud hubs and other jap cars use a diffrent centre bores than the nissan 66.1 centre bore.

Yes its good bilet aluminium comes with diffrent colour tops .

If i was looking for big power i would junk the vg engine and fit a rb26dett engine and fit a single turbo to that.The RB series engines seem to be more known by tuners .Lots of jap tuners seem to keep clear of vg engines as they know nothing about them or there limits .

K sport are rebranded D2 calipers made in china or tawain .Average to good quality so ive heard ,the same as there coilovers.Prodject mu are good jdm calipers and so are endless but cost loads.

Found a a set of cusco coilovers on ebay cusco zero 1 very good quality same as tein for a good buy now price $850 us .Thats about £500 i think. These are well over a grand new.

Isnt this just like a strut brace but on the under side of the car somewhere near the back rear subframe area.I know do -luck do bar that runs across the transmission tunnel inside the car and bolts to the lower seat belt holes .

Why do that to a hand built classic the owner should be shot.No excuses .

Tand M electrical in colchester can clean injectors they are cheap they have a sonic cleaner not sure what it is and if it will work on our injectors.

Does the exhaust note get louder with de cats fitted .Ive got a trust twin 5" cat back system which sounds like a standard exhaust very boring.thanks

Look the same as project Mu disc and caliper as well but there are a mint green colour .

Look cheap and nasty if you ask me samco rip offs from hongkong.It mentions z33 in the ad 350z?.Factory nissan hoses are very good quality better than certain silicone hoses .Ive seen cheap silicone hoses split in high boost cars. Never seen a factory nissan hose split.

Try redline mt90 gear oil it might cure it mine worked for a while mine just started doing it again when hot.Looking for a synco rebuild soon. :cool:

The metal exposed is alloy as the bonnet is aluminium so wont rust .Id get the hole bonnet painted its the first thing you look at when you look at a car you will never hide it with touch up however good you are. :cool:

A had synco problems about a year ago and put in redline MT90 and it cured the 3 rd to 4th crunching problem at high revs.The problem is know its started crunching again .Has anyone had a gearbox rebuilt and how much and by who im in essex.I think i may put a uprated clutch in at the same time .Was thinking about a second hand one but i may have the same problems as lots of these cars have high mileage now .thanks taff. :cool:

Looking through exchange and mart and there is a pearl white zed for sale 1989 for £3500 which states was owned by frank bruno.Ive heard he had one seems a few people seem to have his car .Wasnt his on ebay a while ago is this genuine.

Front seat subframe on s13 180sx/200sx is diffrent than a z32 300zx .Diffrent shape floor pan on s13 body.Dont know about rear . :cool:

I think there are 2 diffrent temp opening stats avalible nismo rings a bell.Its quite a big job fitting as its behind cam belt i wouldnt bother but its up to you maybe put one in next time the timing belt is changed.

My car is a 1991 jap import with what looks like a series 2 ptu which looks standard and the loom and plugs dont look like they have never been modified.Were some cars fitted with sereis 2 ptus or is it a nissan dealer recall in japan .Thanks taff.
