You might as well do them they will need to be removed from the car you need to undo the bottom balljoint and split the joint .BECAREFUL not to split the rubber boot as these balljoints are hard if not imposlible to get.Use a sissor type splitter not a fork type.No you dont have to remove the rear hubs to do the hub bushes .Good luck with the hicas balljoints in the hub there a nightmare to get out. New bushes just push in by hand with copper grease.

For got to mention on swb base models passenger side rear small traction arm bolt subframe end will not come out becuase of petrol filler pipe is in the way .I cut the head of the bolt and got a new one from nissan £10 .It saves taking the tank out.It looks like nissan asembeld the sub frame off the car then raised to the car .This is only only on swb cars only.

Ive changed these bushes in the rear alloy hubs x2 each side with power flex they are common nissan bushes s13 /s14/skyline etc all the same.Apart from the lower rear wishbone bushes which are slightly longer.I made a puller up to pull the bushes from the hub.they can be removed with a hole cutter to take the centre out then hacksaw the inner bush shell out be carfull not to cut into the alloy hub or hit to hard with a hammer or you will crack the hub.The same bushes are fitted in the small traction arms and rear upper arms as well.I fitted powerflex in the traction arms and fitted cusco upper camber arms which does away with bushes and uses rose joints. Also whiteline subframe locking pinapples are worth fitting to tighten up the rear i done mine in half an hour [no need to remove subframe].
  5. S13 fronts ball joints are avalible from blue print i think they may fit in the rear not 100% .S14 fronts are the same diameter with a slightly diffrent taper .These are avalible from moog.
  6. I think front and rear have diffrent amount of splines .
  7. Poly bushes just push in by hand with copper grease.Take old ones out as said either burn the centre out or use a starret hole cutter on a drill from both sides and then fold outer bush shell in on its self with a cold chissel and a big hammer. Some come out easy some are a pain depends how rusty they are.Nismo bushes are the same design as nissan ones and need to be pressed in.
  8. Think cusco do engine mounts good quality.
  9. Tein flex adjust ride height without undoing the 2 top locking rings. Just by undoing the bottom ring and undoing the bottom shock mount and turning lower shock base around the strut as to keep the spring pre load the same .Old tein shocks HA/HR/HE dont adjust in this way.
  10. Still about mate just got back from spain last night been away for 2 weeks on holiday .I still have my swb tt slicktop yellow zed.

  16. Get 245 on the rear and pull rear wheels in with camber with adjustable rear upper arms like the drift boys do it makes a lot of diffrence to how the rear wheels look [sticking out] .Roll arches if needed. :D

  20. Vauxhall ferenza was based on the 2 door hc viva but with a drop snoot front 2.3 engine the same as the hsr chevete rally car they used the ferenza for touring cars in the 70,s to great success.
  21. Pull them one at a time while running and lisen for diffrence in engine tone they are prone for dodgey connections push connector home.If not try plugs.
  22. Not all coilovers adjust damping .Some only adjust height.Yes type and model will be on the base of the coilover and if adjustable for damping they will have allen screws on the top mounting underbonnet .And on the rear they are under a plastic cover .Mine had a hole cut in this to get a allen key in to adjust mine is a swb model though.

  24. If they are green they are probably tein. If they are teinflex they will alter ride hight and damping if they are tein hr/ha they will only alter ride height only .Ive tein flex on mine they came with the car from japan handles good but hard ride even on soft setting .If they are flex you can get an EDFC to control damping from inside the car. They could be any jdm make eg trust/hks/kei office/tomei/cusco/
