  1. You say its not conected is the bung in the hose blocking it off not leaking air .
  2. lock hicas up or na rear end otherwise doesnt matter how much you poly bush the rear you will get moment in the hicas system.
  3. Tension rods will shocks won't zeds use double wishbone on the front and totally diff shock mounting points on the back .
  4. Its not a hard and fast rule it has to be 2.5" but turbo cars do like a bigger bore than a na looks plenty big enough bore to me in the pics .
  5. Think it should fit, autoboxs can have clearance problems with front pipes hitting but i think this maybe just a japspeed de cat problem.Looks like that system is all one peiece or is there joins at the front ,dont snap the 3 studs at the front off there a pig to drill out .
  6. The orange im talking about is like 1970s mk1 escort orange not a fancey pearl or metalic orange .

  10. Thinking about a colour change on my slicktop next year its now eh7 pearl yellow but laquer is peeling everywhere . It was respayed in the uk when it was imported in 2005 because the yellow pearl was faded in japan and then repainted in eh7 pearlglow yellow tri coat again .Any suggestions to colour change dont wana go dark and want to avoid pearls thinking of plain white or maybe a orange .I do actually like the dukes of hazard charger orange .any suggestion please thanks taff .

  13. I know this is a old post does does anyone know is steams still has any off these hicas pipe joiners im about to rip out complete hicas and fit a na rear subframe and diff thanks taff.
  14. Are you talking about cam covers or cam belt covers i dont really see the point in painting cam covers even seen them polished you can hardly see them under the plenum .
  15. My slicktop interior light comes on when boot open i have no boot light at all do all swbs get no boot light then .
  16. The other ones are 30mm internal diameter so i take it its the same as the other ones in the hub only measured with a steel rule .
  17. I'd avoid them 3 peiece strut braces I think they flex get a one peiece one carbing is good make and well made but can be expensive but worth the money if it stops flex between strut turets .
  18. I brought a metal one from andy z ebay trader im sure he told me it was a nissan part they ugraded to metal in later years there must be a part number if this is right.

Hi i picked up a complete rear na subframe inc hubs etc yesterday[thanks tomomotana] i have 2 questions i take i need a swb rear section of the prop as it came off a lwb is this correct also can i use the lwb rear section off handbrake cable or do i need to use my swb one thanks taff .:thumbup1:

I know this a old post still cant get this poxey belt on it must be too small i can move the pump now its in the middle of that cresent adjuster cant get it to move anymore, belt is no where near getting on the pulley .I must have the wrong belt maybe na or uk im not sure if there diffrent or not the belt has 4 pk -862 0n it and 3688 not sure if thats the length or not any help please thanks taff .

  24. Air injection valves they will need plugging both sides it's an emission thing .
  25. looks like your aiv pipes are still on all conected these will need a bung in think its a arch linner off job cant really remember .I went for the na front pipes complete with the cherry bomb style silencers for a few reasons .1 didnt fancey snaping dump pipe studs and trying to drill bolts out for hours 2 thought the silencers would keep noise down after cats were removed 3 thought the extra back pressure of the silencers would hold the turbo seals better
