Hi mate any luck with that flush and new oil, i picked some of that 10/60 castrol edge up today from eurocarparts some say use 10/40 but ive allways used 10/60 for the last 8 years and thats a lot of oil changes .I noticed its not called edge sport now just edge and it states its for bmw m engines .
  4. I noticed eurocarparts advertsie edge sport 10w60 on the web for £41 but on ebay the seller is eurocarparts its £36 with free post wilcos normally stock it as well. Just under £40
  5. Hi mate dont think them additives do much if anything they claim they do miracles .I use castrol edge sport 10w60 all the time .If its from the front ive heard of vtc sprockets can make noise think you can change the springs not sure someone else might know .
  6. Maybe centre bolt is to long i just had it down to chinnese made I thought these sandwich plates where universal i got 4 diffrent centre bolts I'm using the correct thread.200sx s13s use the same nissan filter as the zed .

Yes it is the right one came of a 200sx s13 3/4 -16 size centre bolt , my hks sendor is larger than the 1/8 ntp take offs on plate just wondered if anyone else had this problem maybe a screw in adaptor .I have taken 2mm of the top of the bolt which bolts to the engine to make a better seal wasnt sure it was surpose to spin when centre bolt done up .
  8. I was given it think its a ebay special it has 3 small 1/8 ntp holes , my hks gauge is much larger than that was thinking of getting one hole drilled and tapped .

Hi just tried fitting a sandwich plate and the centre bolt seems to bottom out when done up on the orginal housing and i a can still turn the sandwich plate its fairly hard to turn i think the rubber o ring is squashed is this ok i cant start as no oil in engine yet.Also the 3 take offs on the sandwich plate are too small for my hks sendor can i get a step up adaptor all these bsp thread sizes are confusing me or can the plate be drilled and tapped thanks taff.

Hi I've just put back together my front susnesion and I've got 2 big washers left over there big about the size of a 50 p .the 2 options left is under trackrod end nut or under nut lower front shock mount both places don't look right can't find a diagram on web with washers on any help please thanks Taff

  12. Very nice slicktop I have a 1991 jdm tt manual slicktop and I've noticed a few diffrences no hicas solenoid no digital climate control also my expansion tank and filler neck is on passenger side of engine bay .

  16. Hi does anyone know how much a garage would charge to re seal the cam covers mine need doing, not sure if i wana take plenuem off never done it before thanks taff.
  17. I expected the whole pump to move up and down once everything was loose but it still doesn't is this normal .

Hi spent all day trying to get a silcone hose on the driverside actuator took alternator out still not luck then couldn't get top aternator bolt in took hours had to drop anti roll bar just to get it back in had to cut powersteering belt seemed to be in the way of the top bolt In the end i had to remove oil filter, remove lower steering uj and also remove oil drain then i managed to get it on just it was a nightmare took all day surley theres a easeir way how does the zed centere do it i wonder .

Hi can anyone help ive cut powersteering belt off today to refit top bolt in alternator because it seemed to be in the way ive slacked adjuster bolts and the hidden bolt behind the powersteering pulley but pump wont swing down at all is there another bolt somewhere can someone post a diagram please thanks.

  22. fitted some decats from japspeed yesterday the ones with the silencers on them but the centre mounts the ones on the gearbox are no were near lineing up what have others done thanks .
  23. ok thanks terry will take off alternator tommorow and have another go was thinking of taking oil filter of as welll .
  24. felt like torching hole car today i dont know how your surpose to get your hand in there to dissconect the pipe on the drivers side.Can i use the orginal pipe ive blocked the 2 small pipes coming from the boost soliniod where are the restrictors in this pipe does any one know thanks .
