60k, thats 38,000 miles, thats the only thing that worries me is that most of the mports come over here with that miliage!!! :D ;) Not that id ever suspect the god old japs of clocking them before they send them to us gulible English fools!!! :eek:

I reckon, that about 30 to 35% of the ones on the uk roads are uk ones and about 65 to 70% imports. My belief is that cos the zed was so expensive over here when new they were mainly bought by flash gits and company directors, who either thrashed them to destruction or crashed them, doubtless some were looked after better than that and they are the ones that you see on the roads today. Wheras the jap ones were alot more affordable, but still not cheap to your average jap,therefor were looked after a bit better that added to the fact that they dont do as many miles as us brits, thus more have survived. Plus i bet there were alot more zeds sold in jap land than the uk. Probably b0llocks but thats my theory. Mine j spec by the way, (and so was my old one!)

Surely its a 300kph clock, not mph, even maccas cant do that speed!!! I like my speedo best, its a Jap clock with an MPH conversion face on it, which makes the acceleration look much better!!!!! Plus you can go off the clock too, making it feel faster, and after all once its over 110 you only need a rough figure of the speed your doing cos 1. You are buggered if you get caught. 2 if you crash it will either hurt or die. and 3 you dont really have time to look at that speed!!!!

Thankyou Nelson, i think im getting it now. So I am i right in thinking that the 10/60 oil will be thinner a start up than the 15/50 and will also maintain a thicker viscosity at high temperatures when the other oil has thinned out? If thats right that will explain why the castrol RS 10/60 is the nuts!!

They never made a diesel version of the 300zx for a reason, its a performance car. It would be nice to be able to flick a switch so you could run around on chicken sh1t power when on the motorway etc, but i think the initial expense, extra weight and long term hassle would outweigh any slight gan in economy you may get. If you really, really need to fit a bottle of gas to your car try some nos, it will cost about the same but have a much bigger smile factor!!!!!!

I still dont know the ins and outs of it all, and I sell the frickin stuff!! (wheres Nelson when you need him!!!) All i know is that when you shake a bottle of 10/60 its like a bottle of water, when you shake other oils they all seem thicker. Probably feck all to do with that but thats why i work in a car shop and im not a microbiologist!!!

Ive got an SPV (the first one) thinking of getting the new SPV now as ive had no probs with it and its got windows tinternet so I can have porn on the move!!! :) Picture quality isnt too great on it but im hoping the E200 will be better, what i realy want is one with a flash so you can get birds in nightclubs with it!!!! Another problem with mine is when i take a picture of my car it reproduces it in miniture form aswell.

I change every 3000 miles, though i f*cked up once and did it at 3000km!!! I think castrol 10/60 seems a bit on the thin side, but most people on here swear by it which is why i use it.

Im on bt broadband, dont know how many megs or gigs or whatever a second, all i know is i pay my £30 a month and i can leave it connected permanently!! And in the 18 months or so its been on theres only been about 2 outages for a couple of hours a time.Though it doesnt seem cheap when you see some of the other deals around, but at least with bt i know it will always work, and i wont get any crazy bills etc.

Thats got to be up for a prize for the worst foglight switch ive seen yet. I guess youll be removing or relocating it and making it look a bit better.

If your buying try to do it private if i were you. ie stay away from dealers, if you do a search on here you should find all the places to avoid!!! £4.5k should buy you something pretty respectable, but dont fall in the love with the first one you see on a forecourt, if you buy a bad un it can seriously harm your wallet. If you state where your from, no doubt someone off here local to you will volunteer to have a look at one your thinking of buying. Best of luck.
