been looking into this this morning. the 096 will not be tall enough and the 069 has the terminals wrong way. i reckon the 068 has all the right stats. going to bring my battery cover into work tomorrow to see if it fits. I'll keep you posted.

If you reckon getting a zed battery is a struggle go ask for one for an MX5 import, that should get them in a tizzy!!!

:confused: As far as i know the terminals on the jap and uk are the opposite way round ( maybe im wrong then ):confused: I know an 096 is an 069 with the termials the other way round so if the 069 is wrong way then 096 will be right.

069 for uk spec 096 for jap.

When I had front tyres that had the wrong profile on them it shredded the inside edges of them, Since ive put new ones with correct profile on i've had no problems not even a sign of wear on the inside edge!!!

I always garage mine, except when my brothers over, with the elise, the i let him put that in there. BTW he's selling it so if anyones got £23,000 to spare and wants it give me a yell!!!!

Spotted a Red zed reg A13 *** or similar, with two birds in it! I know my old ones didnt grip too well, but then again they were khumo or yangbang or something, and they were bald as a baby's b0llock, feels like a different car now with a new set of decent tyres on it, i can even go round corners in the wet now!!!

I put the fully synth treatment in my oil a couple of changes ago, but after itgot a bit of a slating on here i didnt use it again after that, it didnt do any harm, but likewise it didnt seem to do alot of good either.

Interesting how many people rate Magnatec as their top choice, suprisingly enough, its only semi-synthetic, i use carstol RS 10/60 as recommended by the bods on here, its fully synthetic and has worked fine for me for the past 3 or 4 changes.
