I cant fault sony for build quality, ive had my active black thingy anout 3 years and its only broke once which was my own fault. Im considering a CDXM100TF next but im a bit weary of paying nearly £400 notes for a 2003 model, so might wait for a new version. Agree about panasonic, i reckon you get alot for your money with them, trying to find one thats not blue and silver isnt easy though. Still think alpines look like daleks!!!

I voted 1 to 3 as i have 3 points now. But in my younger days I had 10 points for 2 X careless driving and a 2 1/2 year ban for two counts of dangerous driving!!! Total motoring fines totalled about £4k

In reverse order, UK fogs are in rear bumper (which looks poo IMO) you can do my trick and fit a hi level brake light under the rear bumper that folds down for MOT time, cost £10 ish, but you must put an indicator light which lights up inside the cabin when the fog is on, without this it shouldnt pass an MOT Insurance is not too bad for imports, prob an extra 20% sometimes less, than the UK ones, bits are just as easy to source so no worries there, only other thing to remember with the insurance thing is most insurers will want cat 2 imob on a UK car on a Jap they want a tracker which will set you back £300 plus £100 a year subs. On the plus side the Jap wont be as rotten as a corpse!!!!

They shouldnt charge at all with the price they charge for the fookin mag, licence to print money or what? Left my copy at work so i cant count the squares but at £30 an ad 6 by 8 to a page is £1440 a page X 300 pages = £432,000 then they have sales of the mag too to add onto that!!! Not to all the mone they get for selling your details to cavassers from other so called motor mags!!

Chunk, that is the uglyest headunit ive ever seen, i fookin hate Alpines, ok they are good quality, but i always think they look sh1te. Got a blue one like that at work, i unpacked it last, not cos i was saving the best till last, simply cos i forgot it!!

They will struggle in a Zed as the stereos are screwed in not just clipped in like in most cars, but theyll probably make a mess of it trying. I got a load of new headunits in today at work, and was particularly impressed with the new sony CDXR7500 at £299 or the panasonicCQ cant remember the number (blue thing, mororised front and face off at £249. Glad i get them shed loads cheaper than that tho!!! At the moment ive got a sony Active black thing cost a lot years ago but its a bit old hat now, im looking to update too, not bothered if the face comes off or not but deffo want another motorised front one.
