Talking of speeding drivers, i was one today!! If i'm about to pull out and see a car going quick, i think i'll wait as i wont have time to get out in front of it, but why do other drivers not seem to do this?? Tonight I was steaming down the a main road (40 limit) just touching the ton mark and some plank in a rover still decides to pull out, but to compund his/HER (probably!) stupidity, they pulled out out onto the road then panic'd then stopped!! Fortunatly I only clog it down roads where i know its quite safe(ish) to do so and the road is wide enough for 3 cars, let alone 2, and thanks to a combination of my lightning reactions and the zeds great handling abilities an accident was avoided with ease. I bet the rover driver is still sat there shaking though!!!

Yep, your right tony, its got the same miliage that it had on it when I took it back (on a trailer!!!) As for the garage selling it, i dont know, as far as i can see they have alot of prestige cars for sale and the odd sports/supercar. I must add that this is NOT the garage that i bought the car from, and i have no knowledge of them, all i know is this car is the one i used to own and that this garage is in the same area aswhere i got it from.

I unplugged my TPS today with the engine running, it also made no change to the engine, so is mine knackered too?? I pulled the hose off by the bulkhead near the battery, idle conrol one i think, and this causes the engine to stall, unless you keep the revs up, so i think that if your car is stalling maybe you should check all the hoses near the battery for a leak. Im trying to find the opposite solution to these promlems, maybe i could trade you a bit of your stalling for my high tickover!!!

As i discovered today, saw a silver zed in cov so shot up behind it, and it pulled over, so i pulled over behind the driver was one of us lot, but he just glared at me so i waved and drove away, and he walked into the kebab house (the real reason why he stopped!!!).

Yes, i need the leather seats, traction control (you pussy), and you might aswell throw in your shiney headlamps!! ;)

Can anyone show me a pic or explain where this thing is, im suffering the eratic tickover problem that everyone else seems to be having, ive done the tb's, just wandering what other things need a blast of brake cleaner. Hard day on the car tommorow, got to do the oil, brakes, stop the zorst rattling etc etc. Many Thanks. :)

Andy, while your in fault finding mode, can you do me a favour and tell me what my prob can be,and also where this fast idle doofer is so i can know if im cleaning the right bit!! My engine seems like its been racing a bit recently, so i cleaned the tb's, and since then its ticked over closer to 1000, still racing, ie pull up at junctions knock it into N and the revs rise to 1200 or so sometimes as high as 1500 then settle back down. Any thoughts greatly recieved. Maybe they should open a new forum and call it "Ask Andy"!!!

The thing with one side of the engine getting hot dont sound right, but id wager your dodgy tickover will be a combination of dirty throttle bodies, and that other valve thingy thats on one of the pipes somewhere, while were on the subject can anyone tell me where the afforementioned valve thingy is as im not sure as to where it is, all i know is its by the bulkhead.

Likewise mines a jap, but the fuse cover is in english, if you look it also says (USA) on some of the fuse places, so i think they only made the one cover for uk jap and yank ones.

My little baby went straight through her MOT today, im well chuffed, right better go put the illeagal plates back on and fold the foglight away for another year!
