Ive got 7 days to reply to the summons, yes i got the NIP within 14 days of the offence.

Got the Summons this morning for 39 in a 30 (I know not the end of the world, but i want to get off if I can). The Offence date is the 2nd August 2003, the summons arrived this morning 17th Feb 2004, I have read on the net that they cant do you after 6 months, also enclosed is the statement by the officer opperating the gun, dated 3rd Feb 2004. I have already had the photos of the alleged offence sent to me and the reg is only readable on the first pic, and not the second. They also say they have video evedence (I guess i can request a copy of this too??). Id rather pay a solicitor a couple of hundred quid than give it to the bloody motorist robbing courts and police. All information greatly recieved. Thanks.

also if you wanted a 'nissan' part you would either have to get an alt belt for a 1.6 100nx (without power steering model) this would be a 915 4R. The next smaller is a 884 4R which is the part for a 2.0 nissan prairie P steering belt!

Mark, just had a look in the books. The stock one should be a 925 4R so you can use either a 920 a 915 a 900 or even an 885 if need be. QH part no. will be QBR4 followed by the length of the belt so a 900 will be QBR4900 you should pay around 6 quid for it. all the best.

Hi Danny, The new one is on, and the old one is in need of a good clean!! The centre peice is is in good nick as I only had that replaced a few months ago the back boxes seem ok, few cracks and stuff but i think thats only on the surface as they didnt blow or anything. Well that was all very odd, guy took it apart, all fine, no play in the wheel or wheel bearing, everything tight, when he put it back together no noise as yet.....hmm strange. Then again have got a louder exhaust to drown the sound out now though!!

No side to side play, but of you try to turn the wheel(as in roll it formard or back) with the wheels on the ground you can feel a bit of play that way. Very odd.
