There is also a method of lowering and upping the cruise speeds but it involves a soldering iron and moving some resistors in the cruise control box, if you search on it you should find it.

J spec cruise starts at around 40mph and will only go upto 72 ish, j specs will also go ding ding at all times over 75 mph same noise as if you leave the lights on and open the door.

There is 2 as the stock one was a double unit, cd on the bottom radio and tape above. Some of the pos a nes had a telly in the top slot. Ive got the stock cd player in the bottom hole to fill the gap and my sony cdxm1000tf in the top.

Either way they seem to work damn well for me!!! ;)

Ive got one set of ZFR7F-11 plugs left if you want £30 delivered. They are a spot colder than stock, ideal id youve upped the boost. Quite alot of people use them on here. However being copper plugs the change interval is more often, than the platinums.

Mines de catted with a scorpion cat back, not too loud at all, bit droney on a long motorway run. But not half as loud of some ive heard.

Id steer clear of it if the people selling it know nothing about the car, how can they check it over and make sure if its in saleable condition if they dont know something as basic as that.

yep thats right 0.8 but i checked mine when putting them in and were all within a hair of 0.8 nd ive put them in and all is well.

if you really pity this fella that hit you, take it to a trusted garage, get a quote for repair on labour only if you get the parts of here, then offer him a non insurance deal if he'd rather pay cash. If its going through the insurers, you have to get your moneys worth as it will make you car show on registers as accident damaged thus reducing your resale value.

yep, put a £200 reserve on it and a long auction 7 to 10 days, worked well for me and if it doesnt sell it doesnt cost you alot.

More likeley a lazy 02 sensor id reckon, is it bad cold but ok warmed up? Sometimes zeds smell a bit fuelish on cold days due to 1 or 2 loose clips on the feul lines under the bonnet, have you checked all of these?

I agree, ive posted a thread up to see if they can run a forum on dealers, to warn all the newbies where to and where not to buy.

Sounds like the overdrive isnt kicking in.

I think this forum should do something to stop people being ripped off by so called dealers/ importers. I think we should add a couple of sections to the forums list something like one called possitive feedback dealers and another called negative feedback dealers. It could run in a similar way to the for sale and wanted forums. This way people can post their experiences that theyve had with zed dealers countrywide, and would provide invaluble info to newbies looking to buy zeds. Im unsure of the legal implications of doing this, im sure a mod will know more, but there must be a way of naming and shaming the people who are giving the honest dealers a bad name. It just disgusts me when i see people ripped off by dealers that are known to the rest of us for being dodgy. Is there anything like this that we can set up or are our hands tied by the law??
