That is just a re calibrated speedo face, its a qick and easy way to make them pass the mot over here without de limiting them.

The matrix pipes are nissan only jobbies as they are contoured. I did min a couple of years ago, a bit fiddley but only an hour or so to do.

If it has gone, id guess it must of been gone before you fitted the mongoose. A cat back alone shouldnt harm the tubby seals. More likely pcv's you just couldnt tell through the stock exhaustas ot may of absorbed more of the cack in the fumes than the new shiney one.
