  1. Word of advice, dont cut the black bit under the razo too short!!!
  2. With a zed you will get pleny of pops and bangs, you have two turbos which will go pop sooner or later, not long after that the 3 litre engine will go bang!! Id get a box of fireworks if i were you, much cheaper!
  3. bugger me, 5 years in the motor trade and something must of sunk in!
  4. you have to put your hand in thw indicator hole and feel for them.
  5. you do mean apex, not apec dont you?
  6. Whilst out in the garage having a fag I think ive sussed the wiper problem. The blades should both be 21 inch, not handed. But the Arms ARE handed, someone has probably had the arms off for painting as they go abit weathered, then put them back on the wrong sides. Try putting the 21 inch blades on and swapping the arms over, should be problem solved
  7. Most 30k plus cars are company cars though, therefor its not your money its works.
  8. Yes, thats called the police doing their job. Its a rare event, but they have been known to do so whenever they cant find an innocent motorist to persecute!!!
  9. Yes, can we give the serial killer your address???
  10. Heres my Arguement In the uk these 300's were sold for about £35 to £40k, in the 1990's the only people buying them new would of been loaded company directors etc that will of thrashed the life out of them from cold, not left them running to cool down afterwards and wouldnt know what a turbo timer was if it bit their face off!! And although they probably had it serviced regularly it wouldnt of given the kind of TLC we all give our zeds now. However in Japan they were a much more affordable car, making the people that bought them appreciate them a bit more, thus keeping them in a better condition than their UK equivilants. Least thats my theory!!!
  11. ................................................ ...............tumbleweed blows by.

  14. Mines fairly reliable, had it nearly 6 years. No major problems. (off to find some wood to touch)
  15. My posts are disappearing, theres a shock. The longer you get kept waiting the more chance of a knockback, oh and dont expect a valid reason either.
  16. Just use a rubber universal boot like a Quinton Hazel QG1000 (meant to be a universal steering gaitor) and cut the ends to size.
  17. Im on orange broadband, its free and works well. Cant complain
  18. F1's all the way, i pay about £90 a corner on stock rims. They dont last that long but they grip well in all weathers.
  19. Think the US ones use the front indicators as sidelights/ running lights which flash brighter when you indicate, by using a twin filament bulb. Could it be that yours has US spec front indicators and wiring and that putting a single filament silvatec bulb has upset it? Long shot, but possible as i know some of the very early jap models had the US lights.
  20. Im used to subscribe when i felt this was a club that wanted to look after its members.
  21. I dont see the point in buying one of those £22 filters. Better to buy £6 ones and change twice as often.
  22. yep you do, thus i havent got one
  23. Im 99% sure they are different.
