Mine hasnt got a clip m8, Ive just fitted a Koyo. AFAIK the hose is under no pressure but maybe a good idea to clip it both ends, Rad and expansion tank, cos if it comes off you will slowly lose around a litre of water a day maybe more. Hope that helps Marc

Well 4 me it has got to be the @rsehole car of the year, the VW Golf DTI. Nearly everyday for 2 years I used to run into this guy to and fro work. When I wasnt using the zed he would always be up your pipes trying to egg you on, when I drove the zed :bow: he would still try it on....the :xxx: . I suppose because he went 0 to 30 pretty quick he thought he was king of the road......WRONG.....I AM :wack: Every day when I got to work, me & paul (Rainbow ZTT) used to rattle on about the tw@ts on the road....and day dream of doing the zeds up to burn em all to hell. Chavs, on the other hand, are a breed apart from DTI @rse wipes :xxx:, simply because they DO actually spend some sort of money etc doing up/in their rides, I was chatting to Rainbow ZTT the other day and we did agree that annoying as they are, the only reason chavs egg us on is cos they know know our cars are the dogs and they really wanna see just how powerful these cars are :bow: :bow: BUT...they're still @rseholes in my book :x:

Ive got Monza 3 from 300zx styling. All I would say m8 is be very prepared to put in the hrs to make all the components fit well. Paul - Rainbow ZTT helped me with mine....he'll tell you just how much time we put in chopping and refibre-glassing stuff to get a smooth finish (no lines or joins). If you havent done this before, then I would seriousley consider giving the job to a body shop....on the other hand....if you want a challenge and have the time and patience :) Give it a go :dance: Good luck m8

U wait til you pull the old pulley off.....jeez its HEAVY. I think installing an underdrive pulley is a tasty little mod, you will notice the difference :) It seems to make the car really responsive when you rev it. I certainly made me smile when I took it 4 a spin after the mod, I had so much fun messing around my mate paul (Rainbow TT) did the same mod to his when he fitted a new timing belt. You know you wanna do it :dance:

Did the pulleys on mine m8, str8 4ward job. Make sure you get the correct length belts when you reinstall!! Was loveley and revvy but a little rumblier (hardly noticeable) cos the weight had gone from the end of crank, very well worthwhile mod. Get hold of an multi size crank puller and also you may have to adjust the keyway a little. I got a pulley for next to nowt from ebay, dont be fooled into paying tons for a name, they are made from exactly the same stuff, I should know....ex BA test engineer, metallurgy dept, destrucive and non Destructive testing. Although Unorthodox pulleys are particularly well made a perhaps a tad lighter due to the machine pattern they work to...and they look good too. If you just want a non bling pulley...their on ebal all the time, I got mine from a guy with a cnc lathe for £14.99. Good luck Marc

Well im fully qualified at making 'workshop grade' tea and undoing dust caps if thats any good :wack: I am also very good at looking at the internet and reading car mags...especially if theres a zed in it. No smoke at all, car runs spot on. Im sure the super dragger has some condensation in it because its huge. The main muffler is about 10"+ diameter by 16"+ inches long and the exit is 5 1/2" dia. So early morns has slight condensation but clears very quick, no steam/smoke. Its just odd where the water going. Im going to get under it 2day and check the expansion tank pipes etc. thanks

Hi rich, Ive got tons of clearance around the wheels but I'll check it out under there anyway....just to make sure its all in the rite place. As for global warming.....mmmmm......are you telling me that my car (being darkish and hence extremely powerful) that it is contolling the globe....it doesnt suprise me really.....I mean it is REALLY POWERFUL my TTauto is :wack:

Just fitted Koyo and stainless pipes, rad has filled ok until bubbles gone etc etc. Drives fine, doesnt over heat but is losing a litre of water every day I drive it. When hot Ive slightly released rad cap to make sure water in system and water/steam comes out, when cooled down needs topping up by a litre or so. Also expansion tank seems to be empty when ever the zed needs topping up. Strange thing is Ive had it sat running for ages waiting patiently for a drop of water to hit the ground under the car.....not a drop to be found :headvswal Car runs and drives fine.....any ideas where the water is going. No hose leaks anywhere that Im aware of, new hoses checked and fine. BTW last rad didnt lose water. Just worried that will be out enjoying it one day then it loses tons of coolant and I bugger the engine :cry: Any ideas lads? Cheerz Marc

Nice black zed out on A66 heading towards Darlington around noon today, I got on 66 at Yarm and travelled along for a few miles with you. Nice motor m8. It always amazes me how nice they look out on the roads...a lean, mean cruisin machine :cool: Marc

what do you guys think of rotora drilled & grooved discs with there high performance pads. Sorry for hijack but I ordered a full brembo disc & pad combo from greddy and these rotora's arrived 8 weeks later. Ive read website stuff that theyre good but would be nice to hear closer to home. Hoorah....I'm no longer an athiest....for now :wack: What brings this about I hear you say..... Well...... My partners eldest son is 17, he's been whining on about everything as all teenagers do. He's been sponging money from me with false hopes of repayment.......nicking my beer!!!!!! :mad: .....and smoking (if he calls it that) some of my cigars :xxx: ......and worst of all.....tking the p!ss out of the zed and..AND.... Lucky for him his mates had plenty. Anyway, I was sleeping away and he arrives home at 12.30 last nite, Lindsey lets him in, me still sleeping :) , he promtly legs it to the toilet and throws his guts up :xxx: ....me still asleep :wack: Anyway I wake up around 6 this morning and get s up n goes down stairs for a cuppa.... In the meantime he gets up.....ok name and shame...his names Ben. Legs it to the toilet...pukes and then walks into our bedroom (I'm still downstairs) and apparently hes covered in sh@t and puke....he didi it in his bed during the nite.....its everywhere!!! meanwhile Im downstairs supping me tea in tranquility. Lindsey sends him into the shower, I hear someone about so I go upstairs and think....jeez whats the smell. I find lindsey retching while shes clearing up the mess.....I just p@ssed myself laughing and havent stopped yet. So anyway, after shes cleared bens bedroom, cleaned the bathroom, got the washing machine going etc etc she says to me..... Do you fancy a cuppa.... Course I do....I cant stop laughing!!! Ben says that he had a dodgy stir fry and its not the beer :xxx: So the way I see it is... Insult the Zed...you insult the almighty...and revenge shall reign down from on high on the lesser mortals who take the p#ss. Its made my day....and I got a cuppa out of it.....yay :dance: I hope you all start the weekend with a smile like I have!
