As far as I can go til more stuff arrives

Techstar, Its the same front bumper as yours but I modded it. The rear bump, rear light panel, tailgate skin & side skirts are 300zxstyling products. The tailgate skin is a real f**ker to fit, I had to chop it to pcs to make a good job of it. Modding the car like this is a LOT of work, I wanted to blend everything together, no lines...just smoother curves....hence my idea of the front bump. The rear bump was modded from 2 x 4" exits to 1 x 6" cos my HKS Super Dragger has a 5 1/4" exit  I took it down the M1 to Chesterfield today, got tons of looks   I just love me zed lol. The sugar scoop lights were from luke and were perfect  I got the lights from SVC. I removed the '70's style leccy ariel and also the rear wiper to give more smooooth! I must admit Im a fan of the TVR Cerbera...good ol V8's.

Candy Apple Blue
M8, Candy's all have a silver base coat. Pearlescent colours are also slightly transparent so when you spray them over the top you get a more metallic look to the paint etc etc.

REAR BUMPER for WIDE ARCH KIT
Ive just fitted a 300zx style rear bump the same as Jason, do not underestimated exactly how much work is involved!!! They need tons of elbow grease to make them fit the car perfectly, other than that they look great. Ive yet to make the diffuser for mine as well. The stuff Ive had from luke @ Zcentre generally fits str8 on with a little tweak. I got some sugar scoop twin head light units and they were virtually ready for paint, they were some of the best fibre glass work Ive seen in a while. Happy hunting :)

Career change
M8, Ive just quit my job with a company that got too used to sending me to China away from my family all to often. I loved the job at first, I moved from tunbridge well area to Teeside cos of it, then they obviously thought they had me by the balls.....big mistake :wack: Fortunately for me I have worked for myself far too long to waste my life making someone else tons of money.....so I quit last week  Now they want me to work sub contract....at 3 times my usual rate as and when they want me ( I will only work for them when it suits ME tho) :) All I can say to you bud is......if you see an opportunity and its yours to grasp....go for it, fear of the unknown will always play a part until you become settled again. Remember that track by Talk Talk.....lifes what you make it. Go for it m8 :) Never, EVER look back. Marc

Is this a Club?
As an observer over the last week or so, its very easy to understand why things got out of hand on this forum, as with other forums. The fundamental problem with a forum is we all appear anonymous and 2D until we meet face to face, so its very easy to chip in comments ad hoc and not really see the impact of our comments on others. And as stated earlier, we would rarely dream of saying some things directly to the face of others - unless the situation needs it! I personally think some gripes were neccessary to bring some unsaid issues to the fore but as members we ALL have a responsibility not to keep the fires burning when these issues come up :nono: . It just looks crap to those taking a look in at the club. Perhaps a private area for subscribed only to air their probs maybe an option...who knows. But on another note, this club has been gr8, Ive always had plenty of help and advice when needed, folk have chipped in their comments which have been extremely helpful. Im looking forward to getting my zed on the road again and getting to a meet....I like to put avatars and faces together :D there you go....my 3 pence worth :D Marc
