Anyone know what my membership no is? Cheers
  3. To be honest m8 I used metal polishing compounds and a mop on a power drill to gradually bring the alloy up to 'bling', you can get some specialist alloy wheel polishes/pastes that work well too, cos its metal you can be harder on it, most folk treat alloys like a paint finish and fiddle with it too much. hth ;)

  7. I can understand where you are coming from m8 as I have been riding bikes for over 26 years.....I seen it all both bad and good car drivers and bikers. BUT... When it comes down to it this forum is full of folk who take great pride in there motors. I too have a zed and what is worrying me at mo is that im spending a lots of ££'s making this car unique, as did jason, sooooo....you just cant replace it when it gets a whack, if you could it would be friggin pricey. When some tw@t who just got his bike/car off the shelf and drives into me I just cant walk away and replace it (they may be able to just pop down the local showroom and buy another anonymous ride)....insurance just doesnt cover the time we spend on personalising these cars. My point....it wouldnt make any difference to the folk here if it was a car or bike that hits us, bad driving is bad driving. And yes from time to time we all have a play at our own risk with the zed but Im sure anyone of us here would stand up and say 'I lost it cos I was driving like a tw@t, my fault'. Its not that we hate bikers here, we only detest the stupidity of silly drivers!! On the topic of hate... and I say this on behalf of all of us on the forum (I hope) WE TRULY, TRULY HATE CHAVS :D and their pimped up faggott wagons ;)
  8. Jeezusss m8 :p youve used a drain pipe
  9. I had my auto go full sideways on the way to my workshop to strip the car down last monday  Wasnt gassing it, but christ it let go big style when I went over patch of crap on the road, got off the gas pretty quick but the auto box seems to have a lot of inertia which continues to effect the car after you let up. I'm getting used to it but.....I'm dreaming about a manual conversion :x: Wasnt going more than 40....but I would have sh@t myself at 80  Glad you're ok m8.

  18. Bet they dont touch split rims ;) The other folk I found do the refurbs on ferrari, porsche etc. I'll see if I can dig out there details. Mine need pulling to bits, stripping the hub and a repaint. Rims to be polished and then have diamond cut edges. One day soon....
  19. Be careful takin the parts off the split rims. Nobody like refurbing them, something to do with insurance. The only company I found that will do mine is down in Birmingham :headvswal for £500 the set :headvswal :headvswal Yours looking good tho :D
