  1. Who would of thought that one day even email would get held up in a queue! :scared:
  2. Ok mate, if only all online admin was that quick! :thumbup1:
  3. For some reason I no longer receive emails from the forum. Any ideas?
  4. Did they ask for any reports or anything? Just curious as this is my next big job, I was wondering how my insurance company would view the conversion.
  5. Is that as a conversion or a factory TT mate?
  6. Ok , I only spoke to him today to order my stillen skirts, didn't think to ask him, I would gladly pay £25 to get it right first time, cheers si :thumbup1:
  7. Exactly my thoughts si, which is why ideally I would like the oem stuff so it's dimensionally correct for the job, might ring Nissan tomorrow and try me luck.
  8. Evening all, anyone got any suggestions on the sealant for rear lamps, need to fit my new 99 lights, ideally would liked to source the correct butyl strip tape, being able to remove in future is a priority so not using urethane adhesives or the like as they are permanent. Cheers.
  9. I Agree here, no venting during a mot test so not relevant, another example of mot criteria and road laws differing.
  10. Well the ruling on a cat being fitted is correct, just doesn't apply to the pre 1/8/1995 zed. unfortunately cars do get failed due to testers not fully understanding the mot scheme,A shame but true
  11. Right or left ALWAYS viewed from inside the vehicle, it cannot ever be wrong, which is why main dealers and parts suppliers alike all use this system, it is of course upto anyone to use whichever they feel comfortable with. Anyhow getting off topic now
  12. Heater will still work with a small leak, get a pressure tested on the cooling system and check for small leaks around your matrix and pipe work leading to it, ideally you want to know for sure if this is coolant your finding on floor or rainwater/moisture to help find the cause.
  13. Surely we all know our left from our right at our age? Right and left is by far the easiest way to describe IMO, if only they would change to that system on an mot. When describing anything on a vehicle left or right it's ALWAYS viewed from inside the car, worldwide uniformity applies then
  14. As title reads, a long shot I know but if u don't ask you don't get, think these are a nice skirt with a nice stock look to them.
  15. I reckon it's funkysi's zed, a side of it he never lets us see!
  16. Looks very similar in color to funkysi's zed??????????????????? :whistling::whistling:
  17. Having said that, your pic is taking looking up vertical right? Is the actual floor carpet getting wet?
  18. Check the little gate valve on the pipes going to heater matrix, the seal on the shaft can leak on these
  19. When it comes to bleeding the clutch hydraulics, back bleed it from the slave, works a treat :thumbup1:
  20. A note worth keeping in mind though is that road laws do differ with the MOT test, weird but true.
  21. Ring luke at zed centre, takes bout half hour to rebuild these cylinders once its removed from the car, there easy to rebuild, just steer away from fleabay rubbish, get genuine.
  22. You got it Joel, that annex list is the list we must use. So if any of you z owners with a vehicle first used pre 1st August 1995 and the mot tester says you need a cat test, politely ask him to show where a Z32 is listed on the In service vehicle emissions standards, no Z on the database so simple pre cat test emission levels apply. And if your tester says it's failed because your factory fitted cat has been removed, again politely explain that as a Z32 doesn't qualify for a full catalyst test due to the reason given above, it's not required to be fitted with a cat. Simples.
