  1. Thanks guys, inspires confidence knowing people have tried and tested it.
  2. Thanks Andrew, a wealth of knowledge as usual
  3. U got all the bits yet? I can pm you my number if you get stuck.
  4. Slide hammer with a hook on the end, insert into bush, tap a chisel down the side behind the hook to wedge it in and pull it out, works first time :thumbup1:
  5. Just take care, both boxes are VERY heavy!
  6. It's a pretty straight forward job (on a ramp anyway) just ensure you have all the parts ready and it's a no brainer.
  7. It just makes the ecu think the cars in gear and adjusts timing, it will be fine. - - - Updated - - - It's only when checking/adjusting base timing this needs to be considered.
  8. It will, if done correctly :thumbup1:
  9. On the side of the gearbox, there are 2 switches, reverse and neutral, the neutral switch goes closed circuit when the selector is in the neutral position, this can be connected to pin 44 on the engine ecu and a ground point on the chassis to effectively ground pin 44 when in neutral.
  10. Pull the switches from the box, do a continuity test with them pressed and released.
  11. Same here, replacements are cheap and easier done with the cogbox on the bench.
  12. I'm after the bose speaker enclosures mate, these are for the steel plate type setups, but thanks for asking. :thumbup1:
  13. I'm after the centre trim that goes on the inside of the tailgate from left to right under the wiper motor , must be in perfect condition. Thanks.
  14. Am I right saying the 1990 bose system used the 6.5" speakers but 1991 on they reduced to 4.5"? Im looking at pics online and notice they seem different SWB and LWB the ports are different shapes?
  15. I take it these are different SWB and LWB?

  17. :whistling:
  18. I'll be there, 3rd year for me, hopefully I won't lose my wallet this year
