  1.
  2. They ought to send him in ----> Imagine the carbon footprint! LOL
  3. Narrr, not going to bodge it. I'll probably bin it. Cost me about £10! LOL
  4. Looks like I'll be getting an OEM one then. Cheers for that.
  5. Used all of your 4 brain cells to write that then!
  6. They look lovely. Guessing they are mono-block though, not genuine splitties. Still a nice design. :D
  7. Danny, what you need to do with yours is fit camber correction arms. Fitting spacers on rims when you've got excessive negative camber due to old sagging springs is going to wear the inner front tyres out at quite a rate. I'd suggest a subtle drop, camber correction arms and the do your rims either high-power silver, shadow chrome, or get them chrome plated. I'd also consider painting the rear inner arches black and getting the arch liners and engine tray cleaned up of what looks like overspray. I'd tend to go for a shadow chrome. Doing them anthracite will make the wheels look dull, although Paulbrem's car looks good. Anthracite only works really well with a split rim with a polished lip to bring definition to the wheel. As for painting them bronze or white, that'll just look plain nasty IMHO. Have seen it done before and it's not great. Bronze rims can sometimes look good on a black car, but not a white one. Best to keep the colours neutral and to a minimum as it makes it more pleasing to the eye.
  8. I generally don't like Khan rims, very dull looking a lot of them, but those are a nice model and they look great on your car Danny! Madmarco, are yours Khans as well? Again, another good looker.
  9. Pics or STFU... ;)
  10. Always liked that car. Really nice looker.
  11. Maybe...lol, although I may run out of money before it's done! LOL It's not going to be anything 'in your face' though. It's going to be quite simple. No bling, except for the possibility of chrome door levers, no embellishments/logos or anything. simple 2-tone leather really and a new set of floor mats with contrasting piping.
  12. Soon? LOL, it's probably still a cow at the moment. It's 'Thanksgiving' weekend over in the US at the moment, so I doubt it'll be being made until next week. It's being shipped to a mate in Texas who's then sending it over as a 'gift'. It'll probably get here mid-December. I've got to find a series 2 passenger seat from somewhere, or try and convert a drivers seat and get the plastic switch surround for passenger seats. I've then gotta fit the new hides to the old seats. I'm then going to give 'Krych Trimmers' of Bristol my door cards ( http://www.krychtrimming.co.uk ), rear panels, under dash and centre console so that they can press and double stitched on the hide I've ordered with it as well. If I have any left over, the dash top binical will be trimmed too. Nothing worse than a Z with scabby poorly trimmed door cards so I am leaving that in their capable hands. SO, I don't expect the leather to be finished until about Easter time. ;)
  13. I've never liked the millennium wheel. Sorry. Don't like the chrome ring and that huge central boss. If it had the 'race' boss with the smooth outer of the Millennium, it would be sweet. :)
  14. I've been hunting for one like that for ages. Seems that most companies make vulgar/OTT type gearknobs, but nice stylish ones like that are near impossible to find. Who the hell wants crap like this? :hurl:
  15. Get them fitted NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Yeah, can't say I'd have them. Like something a little warmer and more supple to the touch. Plus something not as blingy.
  17. I think I may. I'll roll with this one for a bit first though. Don't like too many aftermarket bits stuck to the inside so will probably end up replacing with new OEM
  18. Who the hell is Iceworks? Happy birthday to you two anyway!:duffer:
  19. Why did you upgrade it? What's the differences? Does this have anything to do with trying to fit the CC stalk (from later models with airbag) over the CC buttons that come on the steering wheels of early models?
  20. It was a Ford Probe wasn't it! LOL You recall if it was screw on or had a grub screw to secure it? I bet it won't fit, but I don't care, it cost me less than a three course meal.
  21. So what happened to it? LOL, did it start looking a bit haggared after not too long? As I said, I'll probably end up buying a new OEM one as I like to stick with OEM stuff. But this is ok for the time being.
  22. ...is finally being replaced. I have the original gearknob which looks manky as fook. I've got a Momo race steering wheel.... like so... ...and was struggling to find a Momo gearknob that match and that I liked. Came across this cheap thing on ebay and it matches it totally. :) Should match my new interior which is being made as we speak. :) I think it looks quite good for a cheapie. Watcha reckon? Not the best thing in the world and may end up buying a new OEM knob. But this should do for now.
