I've never ever seen the appeal of matt paint finishes.

At the end of the day, nothing else really comes close for the value, regardless of the few £K you have just shelled out. All cars this age will cost money. But you have one of the best for the value. I was talking to Maddie's Dad the other night about 300zxs, as, strangely enough, he used to manage a Nissan dealership. He now runs a huge BMW dealership in Warwick, so is used to dececnt high performers and he has often mentioned how good the Z32s were to drive and still are as well as their looks. He things in the time they were out on release in the UK, only 3 new ones passed through his dealership.

Not looked at it yet mate. Gonna have a go at modifying it to fit over the next month. I am going to shorten its height by about 3", slant out the side where the sub fits so that I have the surface area to fit the sub. I might extend the front bit so that it fills the gap behind the OE speaker enclosure.

I think Jimmer has AMZ down pipes.

Nice that you're keeping a quality looked after and original UK Z on the road Richard! Nice one! I felt like I'd almost lost interest in mine for a while, but find a good road or two and enjoy how the car feels and it quickly becomes reality why we like the cars so much.

That lot will weight a ton. USPS probably won't take it. You certainly won't get that onto a plane! Without paying a huge surchange and with that lot, you'll certainly get stopped by customs to be asked what it is. Looks like it'll be courier service only I think.

...anyway, back to the original thread. You were on about you and your better half coming to a SW meet or something. Doesn't he live in WSM or something?

What are you bringing back? Remember there are size and weight restrictions. I've always got the stuff and mailed it back to myself. When I went to pick up my 99-spec rear spoiler from IonicZ in San Diego, I just posted it with USPS after I drove up to Long Beach. Was so big that I couldn't have taken it on the plane.

That one's been parked there for ages. I was going to ask if it had a plate on it. So I know exactly the one you're talking about. Probably just an import that's been sat there for months....which it has. You live near Bristol? I know that Sleazyjet fly to Toulouse, so that might have been your only reason from flying from Bristol.

Watch for the fuel pumps. The seals can go in them and it's not an easy job to do as you have to take the cam belt off to replace.

I don't. I don't think it looked right at all. Mind you, the car wasn't appealing either IMHO.

Just tow it home. Horrible to see one like that.

It can be done and fits straight on. Looks awful in a Z32 though as none of the materials and colours match what's already in the car.
